3 ways to get more involved
1. Participate in club activities
1. Run for club office

• To do more service and help your community
• To meet new people and get involved with your school
• To spend time with other service-minded high school students
• To make the most of your Key Club experience

• Get information about upcoming events and projects
• Socialize with other Key Clubbers
• Get to know your officers and leaders
Why Should I Attend Club Meetings?
• One of the main goals of Key Club is to do service
• Give back to the community
• Awesome bonding experience with other Key Clubbers
• Suggest your own service projects to officers if you have something in mind

Attend Division Functions• Some types of
divisional events:– DCMs– Division-Wide Service
Projects– KCKC– Spring Zone Rallies
• Get to meet Key Clubbers from different schools
• Meet your Lt. Governor
Divisional Events
Become a Committee Chair
• Every Key Club should have committees set up by the V.P.
• Ask to be a Committee Chair!
• Examples:– DCON – Eliminate– Service– Fundraising
Committees
• Don’t be afraid, you win no matter what!– If you win the election, you will
gain leadership experience by serving in your position
– Even if you lose the election, you will have gained valuable campaigning experience
• Gain leadership experience• Learn how to work with a
group of officers• Learn how to make a club
successful
Become a Club Officer
• Makes all of the club publications
• Takes pictures at events
• Manages Facebook, Twitter and other social media accounts
• Helps club plan to apply for awards
Editor
• Prepares a budget at the start of each year
• Manages the clubs finances
• Fills out all deposit forms and purchase orders
• Oversees the collection of club dues
Treasurer
• Manages the club records
• Takes minutes at club meetings
• Takes notes at all officers meeting about what needs to be discussed at the next club meeting
• Fills out pride reports
