Donor Renewal Letter

Dear Friend and Member,

Thank you so much for your past gift to Step Up. Your support has helped impact

the lives of 250 families this year.

However, we still need your help. Therefore, I would like to ask you to

renew support of your dynamic organization.

Step Up continues to need your contributions as we help families build a better

future. Your support of Step Up is critical as we strive to continue to aid many more

families.

Your continued help will allow us to:

Expand our program to assist even more families.

Add more services. We hope to set up a program that helps parents purchase

health insurance policies for their children.

Incorporate a CNA class into our career management program to help our clients

quickly achieve a means of income.

The benefits that you receive include:

way of life.

Knowing that you are a part of a growing organization.

One of the families you were able to help this year was Rebecca and her son Josh.

Since joining the Step Up program, Rebecca no longer has to decide whether to put food on the

table for Josh or take him to the doctor. “Because of Step Up I no longer have to live with the

knowledge that I may be gambling with my son’s life by not seeking medical care. It is such a

relief to know that Josh will be able to get quality healthcare when he needs it,” she says.

Sadly, Josh is only one of the 8.3 million children in the U.S. who do not have health

insurance. According to Marian Edelman, “every minute American child is born without

healthcare insurance.” Moreover, 500,000 children will die this year alone because they did were

not able to receive timely access to primary healthcare.

However, because of generous contributions from friends like you, Rebecca no

longer has to wonder if she is gambling with her son’s life, by not immediately taking

him to see a doctor. Won’t you upgrade or renew your gift of $100 so that we can

continue helping families like Rebecca?
