Donna Lee Brubaker April 5, 1946 - June 2, 2018 Donna Lee Brubaker, 72 of Amity passed away Saturday early evening sur- rounded by family. She was born in Sweet Home, Oregon to Emery Boyd and Nona Ruth (Kropf) Headings. Donna attended high school at Western Mennonite School. After gradua- tion she was accepted to the Good Samaritan nursing program in Portland. Upon completion of her nursing training, she began working as a registered nurse at Good Samaritan Hospital. While a student nurse at Good Samaritan Hospital, she met her husband of nearly 46 years who was working as an orderly in 1-W service at the same hospital. Donna worked as a registered nurse for 10 years after which she quit nurs- ing to raise a family. As her children matured, she began working again part time for a pulmonologist in McMinnville, OR. Donna enjoyed photography and often gave photo albums to family members as gifts that chronicled family life. Donna also enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, knitting, caring for her roses and enjoying Oregon’s scenery with her husband, Roy. Donna is survived by her children: son Chris Brubaker of Sheridan, son Jeff and wife Jessica (Ward) Brubaker of Crabtree, daughter Rebecca and hus- band Jesse Johnson of Amity; 9 grandchildren; brothers: Jay Headings and wife, Diana, of Halsey and Mark Headings and wife, Mary, of Wooster, Ohio and sister-in-law, Vivian Headings, of Portland, OR. Donna Lee Brubaker April 5, 1946 - June 2, 2018 Donna Lee Brubaker, 72 of Amity passed away Saturday early evening sur-rounded by family. She was born in Sweet Home, Oregon to Emery Boyd and Nona Ruth (Kropf) Headings.
