Using flexible hoses and hydraulic fittings, leads to reduced installation costs - largevolume installations are typically 3 times faster than a traditional sprinklersystem. The iMist system is perfect for retrofits and can be installed in the most challenging of historical properties.

Upon the activation of an iMist Nozzle, the watermist system will begin to discharge high pressure watermist. The mist will fill the 16m2/172SqFt area (per nozzle) with a fine mist, which will fillthe room and dampen all surfaces, and thus restrict fire spreading (Part 1 – Attacking the Fuel)

When the water is discharged at high pressure, the room temperature is reduced dramatically. This is dueto a reaction between the fast moving, colder air molecules and the heated molecules from the fire, much like cold air displacing hot air. (Part 2 – Attacking the Heat)

As the watermist comes into direct contact with the flame, it turns to steam. The steam particles then displace the oxygen particles around the fire and suffocate it (Part 3 – Attacking the Oxygen)

Successfully Fire Tested to British Standard:

8458:2015To comply with BS:8458, the iMist system had to undergo 6 tests to enable it to be used on domestic and residential risks.

The iMist water mist system passed every test set by Element Materials Technology-

(previously Warrington Exova, a third party accreditation company,) including being

ceiling mounted, wet pipe and mechanically activated, which makes our

�re mist system fully compliant.

SUPPORT AFTER CARE

INSTALLATION

The iMist system has been designed for companies completing a high volume of installations. The flexibility of the system leads to rapid installation of the system, and our iMist Employees are always on hand to help with any questions.

Service and maintenance requirements are the same as for a traditional sprinklersystem. Setting up a servicing contract or a direct debit arejust some ways to ensure theservice is paid for and completed each year.Automatic reminders can be provided to ensure servicing dates aren’t missed.

Installation consists of 2 visits from the installation team. At the 1st fix they will install high-pressure hoses and perform a pressure test. The 2nd fix visit includes installing the pump, nozzles, isolation valves and system commissioning.It’s as simple as that.

The iMist system isdesigned for domestic and residential properties, with a discreet pump unit (townsmain fed), that hasbeen designed to fit into asmall space, nozzles are designed to be look similarto a downlight and hoses for complete flexibility with your installations.
