INSTRUCTIONSTake the wrappers off the crayons.Glue the crayons to the top of the Canvas (wait forthe glue to dry if using white glue).Use tape to create a design or word if you want.Set hair-dryer on high heat drag it back and forthover topof the crayons until the wax drips down asfar down the canvas as you want.Remove the tape (once the wax is not hot) to revealyour design.Share your art on the "campFIRE Kindling"Facebook group

INSTRUCTIONSPaint or colour the empty toilet paper/ papertowel roll blue (this is the sky) Cut the tissue paper in long strips.Attach the tissue paper to the inside of the rollwith tape. Draw a cloud and attach it to the middle of theroll Tape or glue the string to the top of the roll. Find a place to hang your rainbow cloud as areminder of God's promise!

PATTERNS

“Pour equal amounts white vinegar and water into a large bowl or bucket, depending onthe size of the item you're dying. Make sure your item is completely submerged and then

leave it for an hour.Once the hour is up, wring the shirt out and get started while it is damp.

Use rubber bands, to create your pattern (see next slide for example patterns).Fill squeezy bottles halfway with water and add 8 drops of food colouring.

Squeeze your clothing with your dyes. Alternate between the colours to create a uniformprint, or, be as random as you like. Don't forget to cover the back of your item too.

With the rubbers bands still in place, put your shirt in the ziplock bag so the dye candevelop for up to 8 hours.

Remove it from the bag and cut off the rubber bands.Submerge your item in a solution made of half a cup of salt and half water. Therecommended amount is 150g of salt with 120 ml of water to help the dye set.

Once your bowl or bucket is filled, wring it out and rinse under a tap until the water runsclear.

Hang your new design up on your washing line, or pop it in the dryer.”Wear and share your tie-dye piece!

ReflectionJust like all the beautiful colours that are being pulled together to the middle ofthe plate by the water, God pulls all of our good characteristics and makes themshine in a world filled with darkness. God brought together the animals into theark, and the world bears witness to the beauty it created. God brings out thebeauty in us, just like the water brought out the beauty from the skittles.
