According to Doing Business 2018report, Mexico, in the 49th place, isthe economy of Latin American andthe Caribbean region best ranked inthe international classification.

Mexico is among the 20th highest performers, particulary byindicators related to institutional certainty, the internal marketand its geographical position. The Doing Business report is a flagship annual publication of the World Bank measures the regulations that favor or restrict business activity. Doing Business is composed of quantitative indicators on business regulations and the protection of private property rights that are comparable in 190 economies.

However, Mexico still has some weaknessessuch as: the bureaucracy, the excessivepaperwork for tax payment, the lenght of timefor exports or imports to be released, thedifficulty in making a contract effectiveeffective and the outdated labor law

Also, such a large and diverse market implies firstly, lack of knowledge by theconsumer and vices in the marketing chains; secondly, a lack of adequatecontacts and positioning and finally, the inability to manage systems "a lamexicana (the Mexican way)" which are the frequent causes of failure andlost opportunities.
