• The cat gets fat..it rhymes! Coincidence, I think not!

• Although the world is drowning in the age of cats, dogs have far beyond proven their worth as man’s best friend. Dogs represent unconditional, undying loyalty and love, dogs have saved and assisted many families.

• In a 1996 study by Ohio State University 165 animal shelters reported:

• A 16% decrease in dogs received

• A 20% increase in Cats received

Sadly, There are 200 Million More Domestic Cats Than

Dogs (Greieve, 9)• This certainly doesn’t make cats the

superior pet in any way.• In fact there are so many stray and feral

cats the real number hasn’t even been counted.

So Now We Ask• For dog owners out there to cherish the

love and loyalty of a dog.

• They will sleep on a cold floor and remain at their owners side

• They will go hungry yet remain alongside its family

• They can be beat with shoes, shovels and stones yet a dog will stay

Anyways

So many people take a dogs love and loyalty for granted, the gift of a dog is one that should be treasured. Most if not all humans, are unworthy of a dogs unconditional devotion.     But if a fraction of out heart could match up to that of a dog, then life can be lived with true joy and companionship.
