11. SettingsThefifthtaboftheAdminDashboardgivesyoutheoptionstotogglecertainfeaturesonoroff.Thesefeaturesinclude:
1. PreventautomaticassociationofanyuserwithinyourIPrange.IfthisoptionistickedasOn,youruserswillnotbeautomaticallyassociatedwithyourinstitution.Iftheiraccountistobeassociatedwithyourinstitution,theadministratoroftheaccountwillneedtosendanassociationcodetotheuserinorderforthemtobeabletousetheirSpringerLinkorSpringerforR&Daccountremotely.
2. Forceuserstologinbeforedownloadingfulltextcontent.Thisoptionshouldonlybedonewhenyouhavetocollectextrainformationabouttheusage.Byenforcingtheloginyouwillbeabletocollectinformationlikecostcenterordepartmenttofacilitatechargingbacktothesedepartmentsorfaculties.
3. Displayawarningnotificationbeforedownloadingfulltextcontentifyouhaveadepositbasedcontract.Ifyourorganizationhasadepositbasedcontract,thisoptioncanbeusedtoinformusersthattheirdownloadwillbechargedtothedepositaccount.
4.
