His real name is Isabel Flores de Oliva. She was born in Lima on April 30 , 1586. She was the daughter of Gaspar and Maria Flores de Oliva Since childhood she felt a strong religious vocation , so he prayed and fasted often.

When she was 20 he became a Tertiary of the Convent of Santo Domingo. and as she was punishing your body with harsh punishments and penance . He is working at home . He is spinning and embroidered by songs and praises to God, the Virgin Mary and baby Jesus. I also went to hospitals to treat patients .

She died in Lima on August 24, 1617. In 1671 , Pope Clement X canonized as St. Rose of St. Mary , Patroness of the Americas and the Philippines.
