Tramco User Entry Form

In this form you enter the user Login and your Password, which are validated through a method, to allow the different users to enter the system. Each user has three tries to be able to enter the system. Each time a mistake is made in the attempt to enter, whether in the Login or the Password, the system shows a message according to the mistake made.

Clicking on the Enter key or on Intro in the Password field, the system checks the data registered in the fields (Id and Password). If the data is correct, this form deactivates and the form Welcome To The Tramco Logistics Professional 32 bit System Suite appears, showing company information. If the data is incorrect, the user gets another try, but once the user has made three tries, he exits the system, the same as when pressing the Cancel key.

This form shows the company data, including the address, telephone numbers and the Internet address for Technical Support and the Sales departments.

After a few seconds, this form deactivates and you enter the Tramco Explorer form, which is the system’s principal form.

Pressing the View button again generates the list of purchase orders (PO#). If you select the principal option in the tree (Purchase Order Inbox), the system brings up a method of the form that generates a complete list of all the existing purchase orders. If you select specifically one of the trucks (Truck Caption), the system brings up another method of the form that generates the list of purchase orders pertaining to that truck.

Clicking on the Filter button brings up a method of a certain kind (sfquery), that shows a form to generate filters for data that comes out in the list of purchase orders. Once you elaborate or recover and accept a filter, the result is stored in a property that again generates the list of purchase orders according to the conditions specified in that filter, and the tree is again generated through one of the properties of the form. If you press the button on the right side of the mouse while placed on the Filter option, a message window appears that asks if you want to erase the current filter. If the answer is yes, the current filter is erased and the tree and the list are newly generated through of methods of the form.

If you have not selected a filter, a key appears in the caption of the Filter button, and otherwise a Check appears.

Pressing the Tools button executes a method that opens the Tools Emergent Menu, where the options are found for the system’s tools.

Clicking on the Tramco Website button, executes the method of an object where the address (URL) of the main Internet page of Tramco is sent in order to make the connection.

Clicking on the Tramco Company Logo brings up the Tramco Company form , displaying company data, including the address, telephone numbers, and Internet addresses for the Technical Support and Sales departments. Pressing OK closes this form and returns you to the system's main form.

Clicking on the Logistics button normally brings up the Tramco Professional Logistics form. The system first verifies the user's permission to utilize this option. If the user does not have permission, an error message will be displayed. If the user has the required permission, the system then determines whether the Tramco Professional Logistics form already exists. If the form exists, it is activated; if not, an order is given to call it up.

Clicking on Scheduler button verifies if the user has permission to utilize this option. If the user does not have permission, an error message will come on the screen. Otherwise, the system verifies if the Tramco Receiving – Pro (Scheduler) form already exists. If the form does exist, it is activated and if not, an order is given to bring up this form.

Clicking on the Exporter button, a method brings up a form that displays an assistant for recovering or creating formats for reports, which belongs to the sfactivex.vcx class. The

steps to be followed to elaborate the report are described in the section REPORTS – EXPORTER.

Clicking on the Close button, the program checks to see that other forms are closed, erases the variables that have been declared and the objects that have been created and closes the system.

Choosing one from a group of options (Logistics Managed, Vendor Delivered or All PO’s), selects a filter for the data from the list of purchase orders, and clicking on one of the options executes one of the operations found in the View button. The same happens when the Check buttons are selected (Backhaul or Dropship).

In the tree of options, found on the left side of the screen, there are some options of the system, such as the logistics system, the reception system, the option to add purchase orders to new trucks, or to erase purchase orders and the list of the purchase orders in the different trucks to which they have been assigned. Clicking on the nodes of the tree executes different operations through a method, depending on which node. A double click on one of the purchase orders, which have been assigned to the different trucks, brings up through a method the Tramco PO Entry/Edit form, in which all its data is edited.

Placing the mouse on any of the nodes found on the tree and pressing the button on the right of the mouse, executes a method of the tree that opens the Emergent Menu of the Tramco Logistics Professional Tree, with the different options that can be carried out with that node.

On the right side of the form there is a list of the purchase orders that are registered together with their respective data. You can order this list through whichever field you prefer, simply clicking on the header of the field through which you choose to order.

A double click on one of the purchase orders, brings up the Tramco PO Entry/Edit form through a method. In this form you may edit the data of the selected order.

Selecting one of the purchase orders and pressing the button on the right of the mouse, executes a method that opens the Emergent Menu of the List of Purchase Orders, showing the different options that can be carried out with that purchase order.

Tramco 32-Bit Logistics Load Approval FormThis form approves the purchase orders belonging to a truck, and sends the information to Logistics.

Clicking on the button on the right side of the Pickup Zipcode field, executes a procedure that copies the correct code into the field if the code has been modified.

Clicking on the button on the left side of the list executes a procedure that moves the cursor to the beginning of the list.

Clicking on the Compute Miles button executes a procedure that calculates the distance in miles between the point of origin and the destination of the truck.

Clicking on the image ( i ), on the right side of the Carrier field, brings up a form that shows a list of all the registered transportation companies. This form belongs to the fcgforms.vcx class.

Clicking on the Approve This Load For Logistics! button, in the lower left side of the screen, checks all the data to see if it is correct, then approves it, and shows a message indicating that the load has been successfully added.

Clicking on the OK button displays a message that asks if you wish to send the load to the Logistics system.

Clicking on the Yes button sends it to the Logistics system. Clicking on the No button does not send it.

Clicking on the Check For Potential Carriers button verifies the potential transportation companies.

Clicking on the ( X ) Close & Abort Approval Form button updates the tables and closes the form.

Tramco PO Entry/Edit FormThis form shows the data of the Purchase Orders.

The Product page displays the general data of the product on the purchase order.

Send / Receive Request FormThis form is for sending the purchase orders from the list to the Logistics system.

Clicking on the Cancel button closes the form.

Tramco Carrier Master FormThis form shows the data of the transportation companies.

The Parent Company page displays all the data with which the transportation company is registered.

If the Name Order option is selected, the list la list shown in Browse Record is arranged by name or by code.

Tramco Vendor Master FormThis form displays the vendors’ data.

The Contact page shows the data on the vendors.

List View Organizer FormThis form displays the data in the fields that appear on the list of purchase orders from the Tramco Explorer form, with their respective descriptions.

Consignee Pass Thru Table FormThis form shows the data of the values of the consignees that have been passed through the table.

Tramco System Settings FormThis form shows all the registered data of the company and the directories where it is stored. The Company Setup Information ... page displays the principal data of the company that uses the system.

Clicking on the Download Layout button checks the authorization first. If the authorization is in place, the system brings up a form in which fields can be selected to download the information. If not, it shows a message indicating that authorization is needed.

If you click on the X to exit, the form is simply closed.

Change Password FormThis form shows the present user’s login, and allows a change of password.

When you have entered the Password, the system will check it in comparison to the password that the user entered. If it does not match, an error message appears.

If the Password is correct, the system provides another two fields to enter the new password. If that which is entered in the field that requests the re-entry of the new password does not match the new password, an error message appears and the system closes the form.

If the re-entry of the password matches the new one, a message appears accepting the change, and the system closes form.

Clicking on the Close button simply closes the form.

Add Login FormUsing this form, you may add a new login for the user and the respective permits.

When the new login is entered, the system checks it to see that there is no other identical login registered. If there is, an error message appears indicating that the login has to be unique.

Clicking on the Save button checks to see if any value has been entered in the field of the new Login, saves the data and closes the form.

Clicking on the Abort button shows a message that the addition of the new user Login is being aborted, and closes the form.

Edit Login Properties... FormWith this form you can modify the permits for the different users of the system.

Tramco Multi-Rout Mile Calculator FormThis option has been disqualified. It is part of PCMiler; producto de terceros.It presents a screen where you can calculate the miles between points.

Tramco Zipcode Lookup FormThis form is to look up and show the zip codes that have been registered, and they can be looked up by city, state or the code itself.

Clicking on any of the images (the double arrows) on the right side of the fields, brings up a form that displays a list of all the cities, states, and zip codes that have been registered. These lists are arranged by city, state or code according to the image that you press. The form belongs to the fcgforms.vcx class.

Clicking on the Exit button simply closes the formula.

Tramco Logo FormThis form displays the company’s address, telephone numbers, and Internet addresses for the Technical Support and Sales departments.

Clicking on the OK button deactivates this form and takes you back to the Tramco Explorer form.

Tramco Logistics Professional FormThis form shows the shipments that have already been examined by logistics, with its respective purchase orders and the agent in charge of its transportation.

This page displays the truck’s data, together with the general data of the shipment, cuando en el listado de los embarques se selecciona uno de ellos..

Clicking on the Find & Filter Logistics Data button brings up a method of the (sfquery) class, that shows a form to generate filters for the data that come out on the shipment lists. After you elaborate or recover a filter and accept it, the result will be stored in a property that is to generate the list again according to the conditions specified in the filter. Having a active filter marks the option Filter in Effect. If you have no active filter, this option will not be marked.

Clicking on the Refresh Current Tab Page button generates again the list of shipments. If there is a filter, the system uses it to generate the list. Otherwise, it generates the complete list of all the existing shipments.

Clicking on the GO! button evaluates the values that have been entered in the Fast Search Entry fields, and searches among the shipments for the ones that correspond to the condition that have been entered. If the system finds such shipments, they are displayed on the list. Otherwise the system shows a message saying that none have been found.

The detail of the function of the Reports button is in the REPORTS – LOGISTICS AND TRAMCO REPORTS section.

Clicking on the About Tramco button brings up the Tramco Logo form, that shows the company address, telephone numbers, and Internet addresses of the Technical Support and Sales departments.

Clicking on the Close Down The Logistics Module button, updates the open tables and closes the form.

Clicking on the button to the right of the Miles field, on the screen where the data of the truck is displayed brings up the Tramco Mileage Tracker Entry / Edit form, where you can see how many miles it is from one location to another.

Clicking on the Undo button undoes the last change in the data and refreshes the screen.

Clicking on the Mileage Table option, on the screen where the data of the purchase orders are displayed, brings up a message indicating that this option is still not activated.

On the same screen with the purchase orders, clicking on the Financials option, brings up the A/R Financials form where you can check the data on the payment of the purchase order.

Clicking the Carrier Rates Table option, on the page showing the data of the agent in charge of taking the shipment, displays a message indicating that this option is still not activated.

Selecting one of the pages, whether it be Booked, Arrived, Marked, Xmited or Voided, generates the list again and shows the results pertaining to each of the pages according to the status of each shipment.

Clicking the button on the right side of the mouse while placed on the list of shipments, displays the list Emergent Menú of the List of Shipments.

Tramco Utility Reporting FormThis form is to choose the format for the report. You can use it to elaborate a filter for the data that will be in the report and you can choose where the report will be sent.

Clicking on the Set Filter Conditions button brings up a (sfquery) class method that displays a form to generate, recover or eliminate filters for the data that will be in the report.

Clicking on the Contact Information button executes a method that brings up the Transmit Information form that shows the contact information.

Clicking on the Print button executes a method that sends the finished report to the screen, to the printer or to a file with the format specified in the Choose Where To Print ... combo.

Clicking on the Close button executes a method that closes the form.

Transmit Information FormThis form allows you to fill in or edit the data pertaining to the vendor’s contact.

Tramco Receiving – Pro (SCHEDULER) Form

Clicking on the Exit button takes you out of the Scheduler and back to the Tramco Explorer form.

Clicking on the Admin button brings up the TRS system administration form, if you have the corresponding permits.

If you do not have the permission to access this screen, the following message appears.

With this you are taken back to the main screen.

Clicking on the Print button carries out the steps described in the section entitled REPORTS – SCHEDULER – PRINT.

Clicking on the List button carries out the steps described in the section entitled REPORTS - SCHEDULER – LIST.

Clicking on the Unscheduled button presents a new screen with the list of loads that have not been programmed. A double click on any of the records on the list opens an editing screen. The same happens if you select a record and click on ‘Edit’.

Clicking on the New button brings up the same ‘Edit’ screen, but empty, so you can create a new one.

Double clicking a selected record brings up the following edition screen for the current record and its data. For the same effect, you can click on the Edit button after selecting a record.

Create Recurring buttonThis option will be explained further on in this document.

If you clic on the Edit button without selecting a record, the following message appears. Click on ‘OK’.

Then the previous editing screen appears empty in order to enter data.

Clicking on the Delete button takes the selected record off the list without asking for confirmation.

Clicking on the Print button carries out the steps described in the section entitled REPORTS – SCHEDULER – PRINT.

Clicking on the Close button closes the screen and takes you back to the main menu of the Scheduler.

Clicking on the REPORTS button carries out the steps described in the section entitled REPORTS – SCHEDULER – REPORTS.

The ( ? ) button shows the leyenda de los Trucks y su significado de Status e Información de Cita.

The EDIT button opens the editing screen of the selected Truck. Please note that the Truck has an ‘Appointment’. If it is marked ‘Exception’ this message will appear indicating a error in programming. Please click on ‘OK’

Here you can create the repetition replica?? of the selected Truck, and specify the frequency of replication cada que tiempo. You can see this on the Schedule screen. ‘Generate’ prompts the process and emits the following message:

Clic on ‘Ok’ to return to the previous screen. The ‘Create Recurring’ button changes to ‘Delete Recurring’. Clicking on it brings up this message.

Clicking on the DELETE button deletes the selected Truck . Request confirmation to delete if on the ‘Admin’ screen the variable ‘Confirm Delete’ has a checkmark. Otherwise, you can delete without consulting ¿confirmation?. The system is not habilitada for Truck Check Out.

This option is for the Trucks that have appointments. If the Truck is marked ‘Exception’ the following message appears indicating an error in programming, but then it is erased from the screen.

Clicking on the CONFIRM button changes the status of the truck from Planned to Confirmed. This option is only used for the Planned Trucks (colored red).

Clicking on the CK IN (CHECK IN) button registers the time when the Truck enters the storehouse.

Clicking on the CK OUT (CHECK OUT) button registers the time when the Truck leaves as web as the discrepancies between the load as it was programmed and as it was actually dispatched.

Clicking on the PO search button brings up a screen to search for Purchase Orders (PO). If you do not enter a number and click on ‘Search’ the system displays all the POs that are in Reception Recepción.

Clicking on the Refresh Schedule button updates the Schedule screen where the Trucks are found.

Clicking on the Unschedule button, having selected a Truck , erases it from the Schedule screem and sends it the Unscheduled list. This is not habilitado for Truck Check Out.

Al presionar el botón Schedule View, permite cambiar la pantalla Schedule. Cuantos días o semanas va a mostrar y Cuales Almacenes. Además de alargar o estrechar las fechas para una mejor visibilidad de los Truck.

It emulates the VFP command window, allowing you to perform virtually any FoxPro command. It frees you as a developer from having to tote your notebook computer with you when you've got data maintenance or report modifications to make on site. It's also makes life much easier if you use remote dial-in software for application maintenance.

WzreportCorre el asistente de reportes que viene incorporado con Visual Foxpro

trs01basic(TRS)Sistema que corre tanto independientemente como desde el sistema.Este es Tramco Receiving Schedule (TRS) que se encuentra descrito en las opciones del sistema TLP32.

REPORTES TOOLSLOGISTICS, PURCHASE ORDER y MASTER TABLESon reportes creados o editados por el usuario, el de Logistics son del área de logística, los de Purchase Order son de las ordenes de compra y los de Master Table son de las tablas principales del sistema.Los pasos que se siguen para crear un reporte son los siguientes.

Primero se llama al formulario Select a Report, donde se puede seleccionar o crear un nuevo reporte, si se da la opción de crear un nuevo reporte se llama al formulario Main report information, una vez llenado los datos del reporte se continua y llama al formulario Data selection, una vez escogidos los campos que tendrá el reporte, llama al formulario Standard filter options, aquí se elabora un filtro para los datos si es que se lo quisiera, luego se continua y llama al formulario Standard sort options, se escoge si se quiere uno o varios campos por el cual ordenar y se llama al formulario Standard report options, en este formulario se colocan los últimos datos del reporte, y se termina.

Si se selecciona un reporte del listado y se continua, en las opciones de Logistics y Purchase Order, se llama al formulario Filter record, luego se escoge, si se desea, un filtro y a continuación se llama al formulario Sort Records, se ordenan los datos y se llama al formulario Report Options, se especifican las opciones finales del reporte y se llama al formulario Output options, para ver donde envía el reporte.

En la opción Master Table, si se selecciona un reporte del listado y se continua, se llama al formulario Report Options, se especifican las opciones finales del reporte y se llama al formulario Output options, para ver donde envía el reporte.

LOGISTICS y TRAMCO REPORTSEstas dos opciones emiten 28 diferentes reportes del sistema, para ello llaman al formulario Tramco Reporting Utility donde se puede escoger el formato del reporte, se puede elaborar un filtro para los datos que saldrán en el reporte y se puede escoger donde se desea enviar el reporte.

SCHEDULER

PRINTAl presionar el botón Print de la barra de herramientas del formulario Tramco Receiving - Pro, aparece la ventana de configuración de la impresora lista para imprimir la pantalla principal del Scheduler:


LISTMuestra un formulario con una lista detallada de citas actuales.

Al presionar ‘Print’, manda a impresora el formato de esta pantalla con sus datos actuales.


UNSCHEDULEDPresenta una nueva pantalla con todas las P.O no programadas.Al dar doble clic en una de las opciones que aparece, se carga la pantalla de la opción seleccionada.

Esta pantalla tiene las opciones de crear nuevo, editar, eliminar, imprimir y salir de este formulario. ‘Print’ manda a impresora el formato de esta pantalla con los datos actuales.

Nota: Ejecutando el sistema tlp32.exe directamente, estas opciones no funcionan debido a que los archivos de los reportes no los encuentra, emitiendo el siguiente mensaje. No significa que no están, sino que no se ha definido la ruta donde se encuentran. Ejecutándolo mediante el proyecto tlp32.pjx y poniéndole la ruta correcta, funcionan y se pueden ver e imprimir.

EXPORTEREs un reporte creado o editado por el usuario en el que se pueden seleccionar los datos que se desean exportar.

Los pasos que se siguen para crear un reporte son los siguientes:
