Have you ever added so many elements and embellishments to your cardsthat you really don't know how it went from simple to hot mess?

We are going to go over 10 simple touches - using items you probablyalready have - to make a big impact on your cards.

Just by adding a shortstrip of scallop, look at thepop it gives you from thecard on the left to the one

on the right.

There is nothing likeadding texture.  We alllove to touch things,

right?  Adding some dryembossing below ourflowers makes such a

statement.

Add some dry embossing to your background!

Look for places to addsubtle hints of bling.  It notonly adds a pop, but it

also softens up the imagewe add it to.

Add a button.

Buttons at the top of a tagor next to a sentiment canadd so much to a cardwithout overwhelming it! Buttons come in so manycolors and finishes, you

can't go wrong!

Cut three of the sameshape, fold each in half, &stick together for instant3D creations.  Mix up yourpaper to make it pop even

more!

appealing.

Whether it is faux stitchingwith a marker or real

stitching, look at what adifference it makes!

Look for layers in yourfocal point images. Stamp several of the

images and then cut yourlayers out.  Adhere withdimensional tape for a big

wow!

Just by adding a narrowstrip of patterned paper,this card is instantly

elevated.  It doesn't takemuch, an 1/8" is all that

was used here.

Add the same color to the same color!

Not only did is the labelstamped on white andlayered on white, but

there is a panel of whiteon top of our white cardbase.  Looks stunning!

Megan Daves has been paper crafting for over 18 years.  Being primarily self taught and always willing to try new

things, she not only fell in love with the craft but enjoys sharing it with others even more.
