mentee = PhD student in first half of PhD
mentor = more advanced PhD student or postdoc

Administrative responsibilities
UHasselt PhD students often have two statutes: ‘student’ and ‘employee’.
Please take care of both administrative procedures!

During your PhD
min 1 meeting/year with doctoral committee
evaluation form available online
‘official’ progress report for doctoral committee after 1.5 years
(2nd progress report after 3.5 years in case of 3 x 2 years)
keep track of all doctoral school related activities
At the end of your PhD
start in time! 6 months before you plan
