Mectronic uses the innovative Switching Real Time technology for Doctor Tecar Plus: thanks to this important step forward in technology it is possible to reach high power and increased therapeutic performance. Switching Real Time technology has also allowed to reduce the dimensions of the device: Doctor Tecar Plus is compact, high power, and easily transportable.

Doctor Tecar Plus features a single handpiece for both capacitive and resistive modes. With one simple command it is possible to change from one mode to the other: simplicity and functionality in cutting-edge therapeutic technology.

The handpiece is designed to be the best ally of every therapist in the everyday practice: it is light, ergonomic and made of biocompatible silicone that complies with the standard UL94 V0 in order to avoid any risk of inflammation.

The handpiece is also equipped with a system of recognition of the presence of applicators, avoiding the possibility of errors and maximizing the safety.

The variation in impedance lasts until after the end of the treatment, ensuring the correct and continuous oxygenation of all tissue components which are treated.

The effective power of 200 VA is a great tool in the hand of therapist that allows them to have full control over the therapy and how to carry out the treatment.To even further optimize the treatment, Doctor Tecar Plus can reach up to 600 W peak to peak (Wpp), allowing to expand the operating possibilities in the hands of the therapist.

The Capacitive Frequency allows the current to flow through the softer tissues of the body like muscles, which are usually the ones that cointain the higher amount of water, having a more focused action on the desired anatomical section.

The Resisitive Frequency allows the current to flow through the harder tissues of the body like bones, ligaments and important tendons, which are usually the ones that cointain the lower amount of water, having a more focused action on the desired anatomical section.

Multi Frequency

Thanks to Mectronic’s Real-Time Switching technology Doctor Tecar Plus can switch between seven different frequencies in a range that spread from 200 kHz up to 1.2 MHz - the Resistive Mode (450 kHz) and the Capacitive Mode (600 kHz) are only two of them - maximising the therapeutic effects.

During the treatment of pathologies involving the musculoskeletal system in acute phase, an excessive increase of the effects of active hyperemia can cause vasodilatation which leads to increases sensitivity in the pain receptors, generating intolerance to the therapy.To reduce this, Doctor Tecar Plus features the Adjustable Pulsed Mode. With this mode the energy supply is carried out at regular time intervals.

The pauses (TOFF) between one pulse and the next (TON) allow the energy administered to the tissues to be controlled, maintaining ‘comfort heat’ conditions which favour correct cellular homeostasis. In this way unwanted side effects, such as increased pain, can be avoided.

Tecar Plus allows the operator to personally set the times for supply and pause (TON and TOFF), guaranteeing made-to-measure therapy for every patient. By adjusting the timespans of the pulses it is possible to work in Thermal, Comfort Heat, and Heat-Free modes.

The library includes over 60 pathologies with relative interactive protocols, sub-divided by phase. The software also gives immediate graphical feedback, which shows power, time, and effective energy supplied by the system.

MecOS 3.0 OMNIA: your ally for the best therapy

Doctor Tecar Plus has introduced an important innovation in treatment settings: it automatically sets the best values of power, energy and emission modes based on the patient data (somatotype, age, pain level) inserted by the therapist, for a tailor-made therapy.

To allow the therapist the possibility of checking any error or problem that may occur, Doctor Tecar Plus has integrated a complete and simple service screen in the settings of the device.

The Service screen is equipped also with an automatic cable-check system: a simple test allows the system to be checked for faults in cables, avoiding the need of a complete technical intervention every time there may be a cable fault.

The pathology library includes a dedicated protocol for each pathology: acute, subacute and chronic. The user interface clearly guides the operator on how to treat the patient with a detailed description and dedicated videos.

With AVx mode tecar therapy will never be the same: with four new modes designed to meet the needs of the therapist, Doctor Tecar Plus transforms itself into a single platform which is able to best support therapeutic activity.

The Automatic mode of Doctor Tecar Plus has been designed to allow the therapist to be free of the manual use of tecar therapy: the special cable and three electrodes allow even complex shaped areas of the body to be treated.

The AVx Mode allows the integration of 4 new modes: two emission flows (Simultaneous and Sequential), each of which has two emission modes (Continuous and Pulsed).

Often during their everyday work the therapists needs to free themselves temporarily from the manual treatment, as they operate constantly and without pauses.For this reason Doctor Tecar Plus has introduced the possibility of operating in Automatic mode. This innovation permit the therapist to not be bound to the device.

The patient can interrupt the therapy at any time: the treatment can be paused with the easy-to-use stop button.

The special cable with three electrodes allows Doctor Tecar Plus to treat areas of the body with complex shapes.

The Simultaneous mode is a treatment set by the operator in which the energy is delivered on all the electrodes at the same time. The treatment for both Simultaneous and Sequential Mode is carried out using the special automatic cable and without the otherwise mandatory presence of the therapist. It is possible to personalize the treatment by adjusting the impulses, the operation mode and the emission mode.

The Sequential mode is a treatment set by the operator in which the energy is delivered on the electrodes one after the other, following a precise path. Energy can be delivered in a constant flow of current (if Continuous emission is selected), or with pulsed flows of current (if Pulsed emission is selected) for which it is possible to set also the operation mode.

SEQUENTIAL MODE:Consecutive Automatic Emission

It is possible to personalize the treatment by adjusting the flow order, the impulses, the operation mode and the emission mode.In Sequential Mode is also possible to set the time of erogation of each electrode. Once the therapist chose the configuration for his therapy, the software allows to save the setup as a custom protocol that can be always retrieved in the dedicated page of the software.
