Admission criteria • Completed bachelor degree with a minimum GPA of 5.00 • GAMSAT test with a minimum of 50 in each of the 3 sections • Success in the GUMSAA interview

Key degree • Study can be in any field or discipline • In final year of bachelor degree program, or completed bachelor,
honours, masters degree or PhD • Graduate Certificate or Graduate Diploma not accepted as a key degree • A minimum GPA of 5.0 on a 7.0 grading scale.
Doctor of Medicine (MD) Grade Point Average (GPA) using the GEMSAS Schema • Bachelors – final three years of undergraduate degree. • Honours (Standalone)- final year GPA uses the classification awarded and balance using
final 2 years of undergraduate. • Honours (Embedded) – uses the current grades for the final year and previous 2 years. • Masters (Research) - a GPA of 7.0 for the duration of equivalent full-time study (max. 2yrs)
and balance calculated on final year/s of undergraduate. • Masters (Coursework or combined) - the graded components for the duration of
equivalent full-time years and balance on final years of undergraduate. • PhD – overall GPA of 7.0. • Calculation method: gemsas.edu.au/gpa-calculations
