Happy Holiday

Instead of sending Christmas Cards, we are asking children to take part in Save the Children’s Jumper Day on

our last day of term, Friday 16 th December .

We are inviting children to wear their winter jumpers instead of school uniform for the day for a donation of £1,

which will raise much needed funds to help save children’s lives.

Data Collection SheetsWe have been sending home Data Collection sheets for your child this term. We require a current address and

up to date telephone numbers for your child.

It is imperative that we hold correct telephone numbers for your child. If we are unable to contact you in the event of an emergency, decisions that need to be made about your child will be deferred to the Headteacher. If your details have changed, or if you have not returned the form and you know that the school does not have the correct information, please let us know. We also require the name and address of the Medical Centre that

your child is registered with.

Lunch Orders – Deadline 9am on Tuesdays If you would like to order hot lunches, please make sure that your order has been placed

with the school reception by 9am on the Tuesday of the week before the meals are required. If the order and money has not been received by this time, we will be unable to

order a meal for your child. For your child to receive hot lunches at the start of next term, an order must be placed by Tuesday 13 th December at 9am .

LOST PROPERTYA reminder to come and have a look through lost property before half term. Unclaimed

items will be donated to charity.

Lost PropertyAs always, we have a lot of lost property around the school. When the clothing is named, we can return it to the child. However, we have been finding lots of lovely coats and new sweatshirts/fleeces that have not been named. We also have a lot of unnamed PE kit.

Please make sure that every item of clothing is labelled with your child’s name.

At the end of this term, we will be donating any unclaimed lost property to the Salvation Army. If you are missing anything in your household, please do come and have a look for it in our lost property, next to reception, before the end of term.
