District, Building, or Department Goals or Objectives: The students will learn how the use of perspective creates the illusion of depth and space. The students will be introduced to the use of perspective in famous paintings, sidewalk art, photography, and ultimately in miniature models used in the movies. The students will choose a city scape to base their own miniature model upon. The students will be working collaboratively in small groups during the building process focusing on how to best recreate their chosen city.
