Introduction of System
Petrol Pump System
Petrol Pump System is the essential application for acquiring,
organizing, viewing, enhancing transaction of petrol pump related to Bank,
Customer and Supplier.
Petrol Pump System maintains the day to day transaction of petrol
pump. In this transaction, the day to day bank transaction of petrol pump,
How much customer are visit to Petrol Pump System, the transaction of this
customer also include. The supplier who supply the petrol and lubricants to
the petrol pump. The transaction of this supply material also included in this.
In Petrol Pump System the personal detail of customer, supplier, bank
also included.
Petrol Pump System gives full-featured image of high-quality transaction of
petrol pump.
Also, Petrol Pump System includes a wide variety of tools you can
use to create, edit bank accont, customer account, supplier account and also
includes tool to measured stock of lubricant, order to give supplier etc. Use
such tools you can maintain all details about petrol pump. This performs
many operations at same time.
The user interface is completely customizable, and provides quick
access to tools and features. Petro management contains extensive context-
sensitive Help to assist you as you move through the application.
Petrol Pump System is a fast, powerful, and easy-to-use transaction
management system that everyone from beginners to professionals can use
and enjoy.
Petrol Pump System
Existing System
The existing system is a manual system. We maintain all the
records of customer, Supplier, Employee, Product, Lubricant etc.
Projects are the Petrol Pump System which is shows all daily
transaction of product, supplier etc. The admin directly assign the task
to Employee. He selected the Employee for the particular Work. So the
admin has to keep all these record manually. If customer and supplier
has bank account for the transaction.
Petrol Pump System
Need for the System:
In System, whenever transaction is made, records have to maintain.
These records were maintained manually, which is a hectic and time
consuming job. The Petrol Pump System will reduce the manual work of
record keeping and also will be time efficient. The systems show if the
product quantity is less then we order that quantity.
Petrol Pump System
Operating Environment
The operating environment for the proposed system is as
follows. The hardware requirement for the system is as follows.
Hardware requirement:
486 or higher Procesor
Hard Disk with minimum 75 MB free Space.
32 MB RAM
Dot Matrix Printer
CD-ROM Drive.
Software Requirement:
Operating system: Any operation system-Windows ’98 and
onwards
Visual Studio .Net 2008 Enterprise Edition
Visual Studio .Net Framework
Sql Server 2007 Enterprise Edition
Petrol Pump System
Feasibility Study
The system has to meet the CUSTOMER
REQUIREMENTS in the best possible solution available, so it
is very important to determine and identify the best solution
available. Hence it becomes very important to perform “What
If analysis” to determine the feasibility of the system.
Feasibility Study is conducted to test the operational,
economical and technical feasibility. Making a computerized
Petrol Pump can solve the above said problem.
Economical Feasibility:-
In economical Feasibility study mostly the
effectiveness of system is evaluated. This is also called cost
and beneficial system. Hardware cost of these projects relates
to the actual purchase or lease to the computer and peripherals.
Determining actual cost of hardware is generally more
difficult. Therefore, the operating cost is less than that of
manual system but here this is computerized system only one
person is able to control this system
Petrol Pump System
Technical Feasibility:-
In technical feasibility we have to study overall technical
problems for system. It refers to existing hardware & software.
Though we computerized the Administration Management
System it will require some training to user because the system is
fully user interactive once the user gets of the use of system. He
can easily use system or user can get the information of the
system trough the user manual of guidelines for user. Means it
will not require training for user. Hence the person may or may
not familiar with computer. Still he can use system without any
problem.
Petrol Pump System
Operational Feasibility:-
It is also called as Behavioral Feasibility. People are
inherently resistant to change and computer has been known to
feasibility change. An estimate should be made of how strong
a reaction the user is likely to have the development of a
computerized system.
It is a common Knowledge that computer installations have
something to do with turnover, transfer retrieving and change
in employer job status. Therefore it is understandable that the
introduction of system requires special efforts to educate. Sell
and train the user a new ways of conduction business.
Petrol Pump System
Proposed System
By computerized system user just have to click or may be
sometimes type the record whenever needed. Due friendly screen
he gets all things very easy, quickly required.
Our system keeps record of customer details, supplier, product,
bank, lubricant, employee details.
Database import and export.
Database can be imported and exported by floppy disk if required.
Data base security backup system provides security from SQL
Server 7.0
Petrol Pump System
Objective of System
The objective of the system is reduce the difficulties of maintaining
projects and easily manages the project work.
The following are the some features which fulfill the objective of the
system.
Bug Tracking: manage software issues through integrated Mantis
Discussions: open and post to a project bulletin board
Notes: record miscellaneous project information
Reports: produce project statistics
Bookmarks: record and share important web site addresses
Search: search system on keyword basis
Petrol Pump System
User Requirements
Functional Requirements:
Administrators can maintain both business and technical aspects of the
system.
Member can view most information but can only add new
discussions, notes, tasks, and linked content.
Client users do not have access to the Instrument Site.
When clients log in at the login page, they are directed to
the Client Project Site. On this Site, they can approve or
reject documents, file support requests, review tasks, or
add a message to the bulletin board. Clients only have
access to their own projects and cannot view or edit
projects that belong to other clients. Clients also do not
have access to those items that the project manager or
other team member does not publish to the Instrument
Site.

Drawback and Limitations
Assumption and Dependencies
All users are web users and acquainted with the basic working with
computer.
No anti-virus should block third party software.
The system has internal facility.
Drawback and Limitations
Client does not have rights to make any changes into application or to
add more into application.
Client does not able to modify or change into database.
Petrol Pump System
Project testing & implementation
1) COMPILATION TEST:
It was a good idea to do our stress testing early on, because it gave us
time to fix some of the unexpected deadlocks and stability problems that
only occurred when components were exposed to very high transaction
volumes.
2) EXECUTION TEST:
This program was successfully loaded and executed. Because of
good programming there were no execution errors.
3) OUTPUT TEST:
The successful output screens are placed in the output screens section.
Petrol Pump System
CONCLUSION
The project has been appreciated by all the users in the organization.
It is easy to use, since it uses the GUI provided in the user dialog.
User friendly screens are provided.
The usage of software increases the efficiency, decreases the effort.
It has been efficiently employed as a Site management mechanism.
It has been thoroughly tested and implemented.
