1 Is the power cable positionedhigher than three storeys ordifficult to reach?If so then wemay need to put up scaffoldingwhich will add costs.

Enquiry and ApplicationOnce you have an understanding of the potential costsinvolved and are confident that you want to go ahead,please complete and submit an application form.

QuotationHaving applied, we will provide you with a formal quotation.This will be valid for 90 days.

PaymentWe require full payment before any work is started. Normallywe accept card payments, cheques, and BACS/CHAPS.

When you pay we will appoint a co-ordinator who willsupport you in getting your connection delivered.

Site visitWe will arrange a site visit to firm up plans. It is advisablefor you and your electrician and possibly your builder to bethere. Sometimes we might need to undertake a site visitbefore you have made payment.

Agreeing datesWe may be able to provide dates for your work with you onsite. If we cant we will contact you to agree dates.

Your on-site workYou will need to carry out any on-site works according to thedesign drawn up at your site visit. You also need to ensureyour electrician has completed all his works and prepared acertificate that your electricity supplier will want to see whenthey connect your meter.

Making your connectionIf your new or altered supply requires us to carry out anyexcavations we will normally complete this one or two daysbefore the electrical works. It is helpful if your electrician isavailable on the day we complete the electrical works.

Installing or moving your meterYou will need to arrange for your electricity supplier to fit ormove your electricity meter. You should give your electricitysupplier at least two weeks notice. If you have not arrangedmetering you will be without power. If you are having a new

meter installed we will provide you with an MPAN numberto give to your electricity supplier.
