OBJECTIVE

Information and Communication Tech-

nologies is the India’s future milestone on

reality. We need to legend the technology

that serves for us, to reach the destination

Vision 2020. Our Objective is giving awaken-

ing to strengthen, advance and automate the

sectors of government, public, and private

work groups. This conference brings out

innovative ideas on current research trend in

the field of Information and Communication

Engineering for academics and industrial

work development.

ABOUT OUR DEPARTMENT

The Department of Computer Science

and Engineering started functioning from the

very beginning of this College. Our depart-

ment offers UG and PG course in Computer

Science and Engineering. Our labs

networked PC’s have internet access up to

11 Mbps broadband internet; with Wi-Fi

connectivity, also the systems are installed

with many technological softwares for en-

hancing student’s software skills. Our staff

are well skilled and provide good academic

support for students. We have produced

80% result in 2015-16, even semester in the

Anna University Examinations. It is

proposed to establish the Research Center

in our department next year. So far we

have organized 7 Seminars, 3 Workshops, 5

National Symposiums, 2 National and 3

International Conferences.

DMI Engineering College was established in

the year 2009 by the society of Daughters

of Mary Immaculate which was founded by

Rev. Fr. Dr. J.E. Arul Raj who is the poten-

tial powerhouse of the DMI group of

institution. The college is affiliated to Anna

University Chennai and it is approved by All

India Council for Technical Education

(AICTE) New Delhi, offering 5 UG and 1

PG courses. Our college is located at 2

kilometer from Aralvaimozhi in Nagercoil -

Tirunelveli high way. It echoes a spirit of

academic distinction and character

discipline rendering as social service in a

campus that offers top class facility to our

students. The College hosts the best

infrastructure, thus making the campus life

both an educative and enjoyable.
