Manual mode dlsr • Manual mode is short for “full manual control of aperture and shutter

speed”. In manual mode you are allowed to control the aperture and the shutter speed, and any setting you would like. The reason for using manual mode is because, if you are in an area with a lot of light contact, you can set it to the extract, light setting required. • Also with Manual mode a main feature within a camera which allows

you to control it is the shutter speed (Which is the time of when the shutter is open at a specified setting).

Automatic mode (dlsr)• manual mod automatic mode the user has control over when you

want to take the photo, for example, how long you want the camera too wait before, you can take the picture, therefore you can wait, 30 secs before taking the photo. With the shutter speed it will depend as if the light in a room is to dark it will decrease the speed, as if it was too bright the speed would increase

Smartphone cameras • Smartphone cameras have numerous features.

All camera phones has a lens , which enables a person to take a photo, just like a DLSR camera .

• Within different smartphone there are different megapixels, which is how many pixels the camera have. 1 megapixels is a million pixels. Therefore the more the better, so if the phone had 12 megapixels it would 12 million pixels

• All phone have a sensor size but, most of different , it is important as the bigger the size the more the phone camera can see

Smartphones • Also like a dlsr camera it has the aperture, and this depends on the flash on the smartphone, if you

want a bright photo, use the flash, if not don’t use the flash

• Another thing with a smartphone is the apps and feature which can be accessed, so you can add filters, which may improve your phone. For example, snapchat have many filters which you can use

• Depending the on the phone you the quality of the phone is normally 4k, which is good for taken the photo, however, compared to HD, it takes up twice more storagte

• Exactly like the Dlsr camera the phone has a ISO and shutter speed.
