What started as a two day event has blossomed into one of the premiere Gypsy Jazz festivals in the world. We are so thrilled this year to finally present the master guitarist Biréli Lagrène in his first and exclusive US appearance since 2006! He is a master of any style he chooses, but when he plays Django, the angels weep. Also on the bill is Les Doigts de l’Homme, the fantastic combo Parisienne who are redefining the sound in a totally unique and refreshing way. The main reason we are able to present such extraordinary talent is because you, the Djangofest Family, return every year and support the festival. Sponsorship accounts for about 10% of our budget, but a very important 10% it is. Months before the festival the planning and preparations include extensive upfront expenses. Airline tickets from Europe must be purchased (10 of them this year), visas must be applied for bearing substantial application and legal fees, and marketing begins. Your sponsorship support at this critical time is essential to making it happen!
