DENVER BRONCOS DJ WILLIAMS CONTINUES SUPPORT OF LOCAL BOYS' ACADEMY | NEW LIBRARY PROJECT

VISIT SCHEDULED FOR 10AM JAN. 16TH AT SIMS FAYOLA INTERNATIONAL ACADEMY

Who: Denver Broncos’ DJ Williams | Sims Fayola International Academy

What: DJ Williams of the Denver Broncos is visiting Sims Fayola International Academy on Wednesday, January 16, 2013, as part of a continuing effort to support the all-boys academy. Williams has been a long-time supporter of the school, which upholds a mission to prepare boys to become creative, innovate thinkers and responsible world citizens through international awareness, competence and a global perspective of excellence.

Williams is currently working with Sims Fayola on the construction of a new library facility, which amongst showing his continuing support of the academy, will be the focus of his visit on January 16th. The facility currently has a hallway named for Williams, which is adorned with an autographed jersey (donated by Williams).

Williams, a nine-year veteran linebacker for the Denver Broncos and owner of DYME LYFE clothing has been a regular contributor and activist within the community. Williams, who originally donated $10,000 towards new jackets and ties for Sims Fayola Academy in 2010, has additionally sponsored the purchase of uniforms for the Dragons cheerleading squad in Aurora and donated turkeys for families on Thanksgiving.

Williams visited Sims Fayola International Academy Wednesday morning. The all-boys academy aims to help minority and low-income males. Williams has been a long time supporter of the school. He is currently working with Sims Fayola on the construction of a new library facility.
