Brother You gave no one a last farewell, Nor ever said good-bye. You are gone before we knew it, And only God knows why. A million times we will cry. If love alone could have saved you,

You never would have died.In life we loved you dearly, in death we love you still.In our hearts you hold a place, no one else can fill.

It broke our hearts to lose you, but you didn’t go alone,For part of us went with you, the day God took you home.

We will meet again someday, I know in a better place.I thank God He made you my brother,

While you were here on earth.

The obituary

Mr. Jaquan Dominique McBryde, who was known to many as “Fatts”, was born on January 24, 1998 to Sylvia Sinclair and Clifton McBryde at Cape Fear Valley in Fayetteville, NC. On Monday, September 25, 2017 our Heavenly Father opened the gate of Heaven and sent an angel to show one of His soldiers his heavenly home. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, John Sinclair; his paternal grandfather, Dan Henry McRae; his maternal grandmother, Betty Sinclair; four uncles, Kevin McBryde, Bobby Sinclair, James Sinclair and Bernard McBryde; and one aunt, Mary Louise Peterkin. Jaquan attended Red Springs High School until his senior year and then transferred to Hoke County High School. For several years, he played baseball for Dixie Youth Baseball. He went on to play baseball for Red Springs High School baseball team. “Fatts” was a very loving and caring young man. Playing baseball brought him so much joy and satisfaction. He leaves to cherish his memory: his loving mother, Sylvia Sinclair (Wilbert Bethea) - she was his biggest cheerleader and supporter; his father, Clifton McBryde of Fayetteville, NC; seven brothers, JaDarian Le Sane of the home, Clifton Jr. Robinson of Greensboro, NC, Justin, Freddie and Jeremy Le Sane of Lillington, NC, Paul Anthony Coleman of Raeford, NC and Jerel Campbell of Red Springs, NC; four sisters, Diamond McBryde of Fayetteville, NC, Shanquandra Lilly of Fayetteville, NC, Jahara Bullock and Kayla Simone McNair of Raeford, NC; two grandmothers, Rosa Lee McBryde and Priscilla Rogers both of Red Springs, NC; ten uncles, John, Charles, James Thomas, Frank (Debbie), Gearld (Lawanda), Lee, Benard, Jessie, Robert and David;

eight aunts, Sandra (Antonio), Katie (Willie), Pam, Valerie, Pam, Donna, Beverly and Tonya (Avery); two God brothers, Gunner Rozier and Nick Martin; three God parents, Teffany Wyatt, Chris Murchison and Terra Hammonds; special friends (never leave my brother), Turk, PJ, Jay, Shane, Tykeese, Daven, Denzel, Tramel, Choppo and Nika; a very special friend, Tiana Combs; a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.

Poem from MomMy dear son Fatts! I miss you so much.

It keeps hurting, I can’t stop crying.My eyes always searching for you in the sky.

My heart longs for finding you in the heavens.My dear son! You are my angel.

I tell my broken heart that you are still watching me.My dear son! You were my protector.It was always me, you and Doodie.

No matter what the circumstances, we stood strong together.I gave you my best. My dear son!

You took part of me with you. I will never forget over this, But I know with God it will get better. I love you Fatts with all that is in me.

Rest Easy Son, Your Mama

Let your power fall, When your name is called. Prove the doubters wrong, You’re still mighty and strong.

Sofightthisbattleforme, And help my unbelief. So I can tell all my friends, That you have won again.
