Diving Destinations

Diving in Thailand in tropical waters is an unforgettable experience. It is one of the few easily reachable from the recreation areas that offers an incredible range of different dive sites in a relatively small

your holiday destination:

Phuket dive sites

During the years Phuket has grown to become a very popular holiday destination with many activities for holiday makers. Phuket has many different beaches and hotels to suit everyone. On the west coast of the island are the most popular beaches Patong, Karon and Kata.

Patong is the liveliest of all the Phuket beach areas, famous for its active nightlife and the many shopping possibilities. Karon Beach is a bit more quieter and the nightlife is not so active as in Patong. Karon has a lot of different and very good restaurants and has kilometers of beautiful sandy beaches. Kata Yai and Kata Noi are even more quieter areas, often favored by couples as they have very nice quiet beaches with not much nightlife except for some small bars to get a drink in the evening.

Phuket has many other lovely beaches, such as Naiharn, Kamala and Surin, which have much less tourists and services. It is also possible to stay in the capital of the island, Phuket Town, but the area does not have a beach.

All the best diving and snorkeling is done around Phuket’s nearby islands, of which the most beautiful are Raya Yai and Raya Noi. From Phuket dive trips are made also to King Cruiser wreck, Shark Point, Koh Dok Mai, Hin Dang and Hin Muang, As a specialty Raya Divers also organizes daytrips to the Similan Islands National Park .

Raya Islands dive sites

Raya Yai island surrounded by reefs are mainly hard coral. Dive sites are mostly gentle coral filled with different types of marine life from 1920 to 1930 meters. Ocean currents are low and therefore the target is the perfect place for a beginner to learn to dive or a more experienced diver to make relaxing easy to drift.Raya Noi is the next island to the south and offers one of the size of Thailand's richest soft coral reefs.

Marine life is similar to Raya Yai island destinations, but some items Raya sees more and bigger fish, manta rays. Similan Island National Park (57 km). Similan Islands is probably one of the world's best dive sites. It offers an incredible number of different dive sites, dramatic underwater rock formations and the world's richest variety of different fish species. Diving tours from Phuket

Phuket is a perfect destination for divers who want to experience different dive sites around southern Thailand. The nearby island of Raya Yai offers light, delicate, tropical dive. For more demanding dives can be found at Raya Noi Island which is located a bit south of Raya Yai. When you go east of Phuket you will find King Cruiser wreck and some other coral reefs are worth to dive in, eg, Anemone Reef, Shark Point and Koh Doc Mai. Further about 90 miles northeast is the famous Similan Islands National Park. Day trips to Similan done three times a week.

Raya Yai dive trips

At Raya Yai Island, we can offer you top quality diving in a non-crowded, relaxed atmosphere. We avoid large boats, crowded lines and we always comes in small groups. Our advantage is that we are located right at the very best dive sites and you do not spend half your day to travel to get to the reefs. If you want to make a stranddyk, just as on the equipment, jump in and you're on the dive site! When you travel by boat to the other reefs around the island, does it still only a maximum of 20 minutes. In this way, you can easily make between one and three dives each day plus night dives and still have time in between to enjoy the beaches and the island's natural.

Daily diving trips from Krabi

Krabi is a perfect base for a diver to see the many different dive sites around southern Thailand. Nearby Phi Phi Island offers good quality and very simple tropical dives. In the southwest of Krabi, King Cruiser wreck located in the area and there are some other few reefs that are worth to dive in, such as Anemone Reef and Shark Point. Even more to the south is the famous Koh Haa Yai and Hin Daeng and Hin Muang, where day excursions go 2 times a week.

Daily diving trips from Koh Lanta

Koh Lanta is idealistic positioned for more experienced divers, as some of the best dive sites

in Thailand are located nearby. Even beginner divers will find simple and shallow dives in this

area. South of the Phi Phi Islands are several good simple quality dive sites. If you go

southwest from Koh Lanta Yai is Koh Haa with its beautiful coral walls and caves. Even more

south is the famous She Daeng and Hin Muang where vertical cliffs offers exciting dives.
