“ As with all patient handling slings, Waverley Glen recom-

mends that the slings be inspected on a regular basis for signs of

abnormal wear and tear. Please refer to Waverley Glens’ Sling

Inspection Checklist. Disposable or Patient Specific slings are

designed such that laundry is not required or allowed. Therefore

the sling should be disposed of anytime there is visible soiling

of the sling, and replaced with a new disposable/patient specific

sling. Should you have any questions or concerns regarding the

integrity of a sling you should err on the side of caution and no

longer use the sling in question. Please contact your Waverley

Glen representative should you have any further questions.
