DISNEYLAND RESORT CELEBRATES 60TH ANNIVERSARY BY AWARDING MORE THAN $60,000 TO DIVERSITY SCHOLARSHIP FUNDS
Disneyland Resort helps Orange County students pursue higher education
In commemoration of the 60th Anniversary Diamond Celebration, Disneyland Resort awarded more than $60,000 in scholarship funds to 11 nonprofit organizations in Orange County. NHBWA was among the scholarship fund recipients. On May 28, 2015 NHBWA Board members attended a special ceremony held at the Lincoln Theatre in Disneyland Park, where NHBWA was recognized for their commitment to serving diverse students and presented with a check in support of their scholarship funds. The ceremony culminated with a commemorative viewing of the new “Paint the Night” parade, one of the new entertainment offerings during the 60th Anniversary Diamond Celebration.
