step 1.
Brother has exciting new designs for the Disney lover in all of us! They’ve partnered up with Disney to bring you some great exclusive designs to use in your projects. Today, we have a cute way to add a little sparkle to a plain denim shirt, starring that famous couple – Mickey and Minnie Mouse. I hope you’re just as excited as I was when I tried it today!

MATERIALS: ScanNCut Machine (with Standard Mat and Hook Tool); Brother Heat Applied Material;
Iron; Denim Shirt; Pressing Sheet; Disney Mickey Mouse & Minnie Mouse Paper Craft Collection
(Sold Separately)
Place Heat Applied Material onto a mat (shiny carrier side down). Then smooth
down the material with brayer.

step 2. Load the mat into the machine.
step 3. Log onto ScanNCutCanvas. Select Mickey Mouse & Minnie Mouse paper craft
collection 1. Download all parts of Mickey & Minnie (DSNPO1021.zip) to a USB.
Insert USB into the ScanNCut machine.
step 4. Choose “Pattern” from the “Home” screen > “Saved Data >> “USB Button”.

step 6. Adjust the design if needed. (Be sure it will cut the material, not your mat.)
Click “OK”
step 7. Check your settings and perform a test cut on your machine to cut through
the Heat Applied Material only – not the carrier sheet. (Settings I used:
Cut Speed – “1”; Pressure – “0”; Blade Depth – “~3.5”.)

step 5. Scroll through the files to find the design, and click “OK”
step 9. Unload the mat from your machine. Then remove material from the mat.

step 8. Once the settings are set, click “OK” > “Cut” >> “Start”.
Weed away the excess to reveal the design using the Hook Tool.step 11.
step 12. Lay the pieces in place on the shirt.

step 10. To save material, you can cut away the excess from the cut design.
Apply pressure to the designs with an iron. (Do not use steam. Setting should
be on “Cotton”).

step 15. Once the shirt has cooled, gently peel away the carrier sheet. (If the design pulls
up, repeat with the iron as needed.)

step 13. Add a pressing sheet or use the sleeve of the shirt as a pressing sheet.
