Mickey and Minnie made their live debut at the Carthay Circle Theatre in 1937 for the premiere of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. In 1950, they appeared in the Ice Capades, a traveling ice skating show. When Disneyland® Park opened in 1955, Walt Disney did not have a

wardrobe available for them and used the costumes from the Ice Capades.

However, starting in the 60s and 70s, their clothing started to more closely resemble the tuxedo and polka dot attire we know today. Now, Mickey and Minnie are undeniable fashion icons. We invite you to join us this year as we recreate iconic outfits from every Disney Park and

Resort throughout the year! 1. Sheets 1 and 4: Color and cut out the pieces. Start by folding the main body and

gluing each tab as indicated. Assemble the head as shown in the image.

    2. You may attach the arms if you prefer to keep a base model, or keep them off to allow wardrobe changes. Apply glue only to the very center of the feet and attach to base.

    3. Sheets 2 and 3: Choose either the black and white version or colored version. Cut out all the pieces. Start with the trousers, then add the jacket on top. Use tape or a dot of glue to close the top. Fold and glue the arms to the back and sides of the jacket. Glue on the bow tie and bend outward. Fold the top of the shirt collar down.

    4. Sheets 5 and 6: Choose either the black and white version or colored version. Cut out all the pieces. Start with the under layer and shoes. Fold the skirt only at the waist, and fit to the base model. Attach with glue or tape. Attach arms to the top. Fold bow and apply a dot of glue to attach to Minnie’s head.

    5. Sheet 7: Color as you would like. Cut out the piece, fold and glue where indicated. Now you have a Disneyland Resort background for Mickey and Minnie!
