WHAT IS DISCRIMINATION?
• Discrimination is to treat a person or group of persons different from the way we treat all other persons or groups in society.
• Discrimination takes many different forms and affects many people.
Discrimination is not new
• Discrimination has been used to keep certain people or groups of people down for many years.
• Sadly discrimination is still used within even the most developed Countries including within Europe and the USA today.
Discrimination affects millions of citizens.
• Discrimination is often based on grounds of a persons physical state, color, race, religion, social status and can take many forms.
• How many forms of discrimination can you name?

• Forms of discrimination include.• Disability discrimination.• Segregation of colored people, gypsies,
Jews, religious groups and other minorities.• School, & workplace discrimination.• Discrimination within justice on ethnic and
