DISCOVERY DAY CAMP

Monday(SD):On Monday we begin with assembly before heading back to our classrooms to get ready for group games and activities on our activity fields. After lunch we will enjoy our reading program from the Hall County Library System before heading to our swim lessons.
Tuesday(FT): After assembly, we will load up the busses to travel to the Georgia Aquarium where we will eat lunch with all of the Sea Life. We will return between 3:00pm and 3:45pm.
Wednesday(SD): Today we will enjoy a wide variety of activities which will range from games in the gym, arts & crafts, and fitness on the playground. In the afternoon we will enjoy group swim time and swim lessons.
Thursday(SD): On Thursday we will travel to the Performing Arts Center at Gainesville High to see the Children’s Musical Workshop put on the amazing play “Around the world in 80 days.” When we return, we will have group swim time and swim lessons at Frances Meadows Aquatic Center.
Friday: After assembly, the local Fire & EMT personnel will be coming by to talk to all of the campers and discuss safety. After we enjoy lunch and teambuilding, we will enjoy quiet time and reading followed by Team Sports outside.

Monday(SD): On Monday we will play group games before going to the cafeteria to listen to GHS strength coach, Matthew Shirley, speak on staying active during the summer. Following the speech we will go to lunch before beginning our basketball tournament. After basketball we will head to our swim lessons at Frances Meadows Aquatic Center.
Tuesday(SD): After assembly, we will enjoy activities outside before returning for round two of our basketball tournament. Following those games we will have lunch and then head to Frances Meadows for group swim and swim lessons!
Wednesday(SD): Wednesday, wear your favorite pajamas! It is pajama day! We will have our final tournament game before Gainesville City Police come and speak to us in the afternoon about safety. We will finish the day with swim lessons at Frances Meadows Aquatic Center!
Thursday(SD): Good food and good fun. Chic-fil-a will stop by to speak about their new “healthy” menu items before heading to swim at Frances Meadows after lunch for group swim and swim lessons!
Friday (FT): Let us all put on the funny shoes! After some fun games in the morning, as well as Arts & Crafts we will head over to the Gainesville Bowling Alley and bowl a few games and play laser tag!

Monday(SD): Before swim lessons in the afternoon we will spend a lot of time outside participating in all kinds of group and individual games. After lunch we will get stronger in the gym before having great swim lessons in the afternoon.
Tuesday(SD): Dance and music along with arts & crafts in the morning will be followed by group swim at the pool at Frances Meadows after lunch. Let us find out who is the faster swimmer in between our swim lessons!
Wednesday(FT): Make sure you are dropped off on time as we will spend all day in Atlanta at Phillips Arena as we head down to watch our local WNBA team, The Atlanta Dream as they host us for a special game!
Thursday(SD): Dress up as your favorite person from history today as we have dedicated today as “Favorite Person from History” day. Get goofy with your counselors as we share stories about who our person is. Be prepared to swim as we all head to Frances Meadows for group swim and swim lessons in the afternoon.
Friday (SD): After assembly we will all go to our rooms before having quiet reading time or fun at the baseball field. After lunch we will enjoy the slide and swings at the play ground before heading to swim

Monday(SD): We will occupy our morning by enjoying a wide variety of activities like games in the gym, arts & crafts, and fitness on the playground before heading to Frances Meadows in the afternoon for group swim lessons.
Tuesday(SD): After group games on the baseball field we will have dance sessions along with arts & crafts in the morning. This active morning will be followed by open group swim at Frances Meadows and then on to swim lessons.
Wednesday(SD): On Wednesday we will have a fun filled day of indoor and outdoor activities as we build on our friendships. We will have group swim before continuing our swim lessons in the afternoon at Frances Meadows after building strength in the gym.
Thursday(FT&SD): Put on your hiking boots as we head to Elachee to learn about ecosystems and various organisms. This educational session will have you interested on why certain animals possess certain traits! Following this we will return for swim lessons at Frances Meadows!
Friday: The day of outside games! From kickball, football, and even tag, we will explore every game in the book and drink gallons of water as we expend our energy. After we exhaust ourselves we will return to our rooms to unwind with our reading program.

Monday: NO CAMP AS WE ALL CELEBRATE JULY 4th
Tuesday(SD): Get ready to be active as we enjoy a variety of games before heading to the playground. Following lunch we will get changed for group swim and swim lessons at Frances Meadows!
Wednesday(FT): LETTTTSSSS PLAYYYYYY BALLLLLL!!! We travel to Cool-Ray Field today to watch the Gwinnett Braves play an afternoon baseball game! The Gwinnett Braves will be putting on a childcare day with all kinds of fun events.
Thursday(SD): Thursday, we will have a fitness filled morning as we burn off our energy before heading to lunch. At lunch we will refuel to be ready for open swim at Frances Meadows and swim lessons. This will be one ACTIVE day.
Friday: What is more fun and exciting than cookouts and hot dogs? Today we will travel to Longwood park for our annual Day Camp cook out and field day. We will have a tremendous lunch before competing in numerous activities for field day!
