INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITIES FOR STUDENTS AND YOUNG PROFESSIONALS

This project is focused on the fulfilment of an educational experience in the Hospitality Industry for students and young professionals (age: 18-30) from Italy, Spain, Ireland and other EU countries, in the Puglia Region.The aim of this project is to improve the knowledge of the Italian and local wine and food tradition, and of the services linked to the hospitality and catering industry.

INTERNSHIP PERIOD: June – September 2016 (min. stay 3 months, max. stay 4 months).ARRIVAL DATES: between 20.05.2016 and 12.06.2016. WHERE TO FLY: Bari airport, Brindisi airport

INFORMATION ON THE HOSTING COMPANY

The Company is a well-established EazyCity partner in Italy, operating in Tourism for the Puglia Region.

The Hosting Company, during the stay, is required to:

• provide accommodation and full board (breakfast, lunch and dinner) to the intern for the entire internship period;

• ensure that the intern would work a maximum of 8 hours per day, 6 days per week. Particular exceptions - related to the nature of the business - can be made, provided that they have been agreed in advance with the person involved;

• fill the summary record for every intern;• respect all the Public Safety laws and rules of their competence, also regarding the stay of foreign citizens;• issue to every intern an attendance certificate at the end of their experience; • the internship will take place between 1st June 2016 and 30th September 2016

DUTIES OF THE COMPANY

The intern during the period of the internship will be given €450 per month. A receipt would be produced along with every payment. The company will provide full board and accommodation (in triple rooms/4 bed dorms) during the entire period of the internship.

DUTIES OF THE TRAINEE

By subscribing to this Project, the intern is required - during the carrying out of their internship activities - to respect the regulations and the guidelines provided by the hosting company, as well as the most common rules regarding confidentiality, hygiene, and safety. The intern must adopt a behaviour which would be appropriate to the circumstances, and to the local customs and traditions. Should this not be the case, the intern would be dismissed from their position before the end of their stay and a replacement internship would not be organised.Particularly, the host company can terminate this agreement due to grave breaches made by the intern. Should this be the case, the intern will receive the amount of reimbursement accumulated until the day in which the company issued a dismissal notice. The notice has to be provided by the company in writing, by filling the appropriate form.In case the intern would ask to end the experience ahead of time without providing any justification, the intern will not receive any reimbursement for the month in which he decides to end the working experience.In case of illness or recorded personal issues, the intern will receive the amount of reimbursement accumulated until the day before the departure.

ASSISTANCE AND SUPPORT

Our partner in Puglia will:

• respect all the formalities and fulfilments according to current legislation; • act as a tutor and supervisor, controlling and giving assistance during the entire stay of the interns,

along with any other possible relevant authorities;• help during the return to the trainee’s country of origin at the end of their experience; • support for a potential “early leaving” of the intern; • arrange the pick-up of the trainee at the airport (only in case the intern would explicitly ask for it,

since this will incur a fee)• arrange the welcome at the accommodation or at the building where the internship will take place• arrange the drop off to the closest train station (or airport) at the end of the internship or in case

of early leaving (only when the intern would explicitly ask for it); • choose a group leader for every team and provide him with a mobile phone with an Italian SIM card;• offer a 50% discount on all excursion services to each intern
