Living CostsAt a first glance salaries in China can often seem low; however the cost of living is much lower than that of the UK.

Salaries will usually fall between 5000RMB – 9000RMB (£500 - £900) per month. Benefits are also included in many, if not all. Contracts usually include the following: • Airport pickup • Housing allowance / free accommodation* • Visa assistance• Insurance coverage • Flight reimbursement on completion of the contract • Contract completion bonus • Paid public holidays• Free Mandarin classes

Some of the students you will be working with have little to no English; therefore good communication skills and an eagerness to learn the culture is essential. Any previous experience in working with children is desirable.
