1. VALIDATION OF EXISTING REGISTRATION (Available till 31/07/2009)

� Click on link “online services for directorate of employment” at

http://labour.delhigovt.nic.in

� Click on “Already Registered Candidate”

� Read the instructions carefully and click on “Confirm & Update” button.

� Enter existing registration details. All fields are mandatory. Even after entering all

the fields, if your existing details are not retrieved, please contact the Directorate

or nearest Jeevan Centre.

� If details are retrieved, it will be displayed on top of the webpage and in the

respective fields. Verify the existing data, update wrong entries

� Enter/Select other required fields and click on ‘Continue’.

� Enter the Qualification, Skill set, Experience, National & International Language.

While entering, remember the following:

� The data added to list will be submitted. Only selection of data does

not mean that data will be submitted.

� After selecting the data you MUST CLICK ON “ADD TO LIST”

button.

� You can enter maximum of 5 records in each category.

� Skill set is an auto-complete field, wait to populate. As you will type

data field will be populated and you have to select from the appearing

list by clicking on desired data.

� Click on “Submit” to generate receipt. The userid and password for accessing the

2. NEW REGISTRATION � Click on link “online services for directorate of employment” at

� Click on “New User: Register”

� Enter the Qualification, Skill set, Experience, National & International Language.

3. OPENING THE APPLICATION USING INTERNET

• Open Internet explorer

� Click on Start button

� In menu Select Program

� Click on Internet Explorer

� Type http://labour.delhigovt.nic.in in Internet Explorer address bar.

4. LOGIN

� Select “Candidate” in the Login As field.

� Enter the User ID provided in the Receipt.

� If the User ID entered is correct, “Login” button will be activated.

� Enter the password.

� Click on “Login” button.

� If all details are correct, the menu will appear; else Error page will be

displayed.

5. FACILITY AVAILABLE AFTER LOGIN: Once you are successfully Logged In,

the menu will appear. Click on required link to access the services. On each page, the

menu icon is displayed at the top right corner of the page. Anytime, it can be clicked to

return to the Menu.

� Renew Registration: This option will be available to those candidates

whose registration is going to expire within next 4 months. The link will

be available for 6 months.

� Change Password

� Addition of Qualification, Skill set/Occupation, Experience and

Language

� Add preference

� Logout: In the Menu Page, Logout icon ( ) may be clicked to logout

of the system.

1. Instruction for new registration

F2.Instruction Page: It gives the instructions for candidates before registration. It has a button for Registration.

Working: 1. Read through the instructions carefully and thoroughly. 2. Click on Register button.

2. New User Registration: Basic Information

F3. Registration Page: It is the Registration Page for NEW CANDIDATE.

Working: 1. Select the User Type as candidate. 2. Fill in the Basic details:

a. Enter First Name (Mandatory) b. Enter Middle Name (Optional) c. Enter Last Name (Optional) d. Enter Father’s Name (Optional) e. If Father’s Name is entered then Mother’s Name is Mandatory otherwise it can be left

blank. f. Select Date of Birth (Mandatory) g. Select Gender (Mandatory) h. Select Area i.e. Rural/ Urban (Mandatory) i. Select Marital Status (Mandatory) j. Select Religion (Mandatory) k. Select Category (Mandatory); If not general category then

i. Enter Caste Certificate No. (Mandatory) ii. Enter Certificate Issuing Authority. (Mandatory)

l. If disabled; select ‘Yes’ i. Select Type of Disability (Mandatory)

ii. Select Disability sub-type. (Mandatory) iii. Enter percentage of disability/ remarks (Optional) iv. Enter Disability Certificate No. (Mandatory) v. Enter Certificate Issuing Authority. (Mandatory)

m. If an Ex-Serviceman; select ‘Yes’ i. Select Name of Force. (Mandatory) ii. Enter date of Joining (Mandatory) iii. Enter the Rank held. (Mandatory) iv. Enter Date of Discharge (Mandatory) v. Enter the regiment/ Service No. (Mandatory) vi. Enter the Reasons for Discharge. (Mandatory)

3. Fill in the Physical Fitness Details. a. Select the Eyesight detail.(Default value is Normal) b. Enter Height. (in cms.) (Optional) c. Enter Weight.(Optional) d. Enter Chest measurement. (in cms.) (Optional).

4. Fill in the Address Details (Both Correspondence & Permanent ) a. Give the Correspondence Address in Delhi State only.

i. Enter the Address e.g. House/ Flat/Gali/ Block No. (Mandatory) ii. If the Address is very long (more than 50 Characters); enter the part address in

the second box. (Optional) iii. Enter the Locality name (Optional). iv. Enter the PIN Code of the area. (Mandatory) v. To search for the Pin Code Click on the link Search PIN. vi. Enter the mobile no. (Optional). vii. Enter the e-mail id. (Optional). viii. Enter the Landline No. (Optional).

b. If the Permanent Address is the same as Correspondence Address, click on ‘Same as Correspondence Address’.

c. If Candidate belongs to State other than Delhi then, Give the Permanent Address. i. Enter the Address e.g. House/ Flat/Gali/ Block No. (Mandatory) ii. If the Address is very long (more than 50 Characters); enter the part address in

the second box. (Optional) iii. Enter the City name (Optional). iv. Select the State. (Mandatory) v. Enter the PIN Code of the area. (Optional)

5. Check the form for any errors/ spelling mistakes. If correct, click on ‘Submit’. 6. To make any other changes click on Cancel else Click on ‘OK’ in the confirmation window to

submit the form.

3. New User Registration: Qualification & Experience

F4: Qualification Page: This Form is used to add the Qualification & Experience Details.

Working (Maximum Five items can be added to each List): 1. Fill the Qualification details: (Optional: In Chronological Order: Highest Degree First)

a. Select Qualification (Mandatory) b. Enter the University/Board (Mandatory) c. Enter the Year of passing (Mandatory) d. Enter Max. Marks (Optional if the Degree assigns Grade) e. Enter Marks Obtained (Optional) f. Enter Grade (Optional) g. Select Stream (Mandatory) else it will be disabled h. Select Subjects (Optional), also to select multiple subjects hold down control button of

key board and click on the subjects to be selected. i. Click on the “Add to list” button on screen for addition of qualification details to the

list. j. Only the Qualification details added to list will be submitted. Thus it is must to

click on “Add to List” Button after entering/selection of details.

2. Fill the Acquired Skills(Optional) a. Acquired skill set is as per NCO Specification, you may click on the link to view the

NCO classification of occupation. b. In input box when you start typing the list of Skill-Set will appear below, click on

desired Skill-Set from the list (Mandatory), after clicking on skill-set it will appear in

Skill-Set input box. c. Select Acquired Through(Mandatory) d. Enter Experience(in Months)(Mandatory) e. Enter remarks if any.(Optional)

e. Click on the “Add to list” button on screen for addition of skills to the list. k. Only the Skill-Set details added to list will be submitted. Thus it is must to click

on “Add to List” Button after entering/selection of details. 3. Fill the Work Experience(Optional)

a. Enter Employer Name(Mandatory) b. Select Type(Mandatory) c. Enter Designation/ Job Title(Mandatory) d. Enter From(Mandatory) e. Enter To(Optional) f. Enter Pay (p.m.) (Mandatory) g. Select Qualification(Mandatory) h. Click on the “Add to List” button on screen for addition of work experience to the list. i. Only the Experience details added to list will be submitted. Thus it is must to

click on “Add to List” Button after entering/selection of details.

4. Fill the National Language’s Known (Optional) a. Select the language (Mandatory) from the language set. b. Select/leave Read. c. Select/leave Write. d. Select/leave Speak. e. Select/leave the all. f. Click on the “Add to List” button on screen for addition of National Language to the

list. g. Only the National Language added to list will be submitted. Thus it is must to

click on “Add to List” Button after entering/selection of details.

5. Fill the International Language’s Known(Optional) a. Select the language (Mandatory) from the language set. b. Select/leave the Read. c. Select/leave the Write. d. Select/leave the Speak. e. Select/leave the All. f. Click on the “Add to List” button on screen for addition of International Language to

the list. g. Only the International Language added to list will be submitted. Thus it is must

to click on “Add to List” Button after entering/selection of details.

6. Check the form for any errors/ spelling mistakes. If correct, click on ‘Submit’.

4. New User Registration : Receipt F5: Receipt Page: It Form is used to generate the Registration No and all the details which the candidate filled. From these details the User Id and Password will Generate and printed on receipt.

Working: 1. Click on print Button to print the receipt. 2. The receipt will have Registration No., Registration details which were filled by Candidate and

Username and Password is generated for the future Login sessions.

5. Already Registered Candidate: Instructions

F6.Instruction Page: This form gives the instructions for the already registered candidates for updating. It opens After the LOGIN PAGE. It has a button for conformation and updation.

Working: 1. It has Eight instruction points. 2. After reading the instructions click on the ‘Confirm & Update’ Button to go further.

6. Already Registered Candidate: Existing Details Entry

F7.User Detail Page: It form is used for User primary details. The candidate Should have the Registration no. for this process.

Working: 1. Enter the Old Registration Id. (Mandatory) 2. Enter First Name (Mandatory) 3. Enter Father’s/Husband’s/Guardian’s name(Mandatory) 4. Select Date of Birth (Mandatory) 5. Select Gender (Mandatory)

6. Check the form for any errors/ spelling mistakes. If correct, click on ‘Submit’.

7. Already Registered Candidate: Basic Information

F8. Registration Page: It is the Registration Page For Already Registered Candidate It has all the details which were filled by Candidate in the upper portion of form, Candidate can change any information.

Working: 1. The already registered basic information is displayed at the top of the page.
