Lisa, Lead CCAP Support Professional

Remember to have your clients report any changes to their case within 10 days of the change.

Make sure your parents answer the questions about family size and whether the other parent of a child is in the house. These questions often get missed and can result in a processing delay.

Keep track of your client’s eligibility period end date. Your client should receive a redetermination in the mail the month before their approval ends. If not, they need to call the CCRS office to request one.

Quality Improvement Fund – Cohort (“Mini-Grants”)

Quality Improvement Fund Cohort applications are now available. The completed application is due January 15, 2016.

To get an application or for questions about the funds, you can look at the CCRS website http://ccrs.illinois.edu or call Kathy, Jenny or Tina at (217) 333-3252, option 3.

This will be Lisa’s last CCAP Corner. During Lisa’s almost 18-year tenure at CCRS, she has been an integral part of the Child Care Assistance Program. Her strong commitment and dedication to our customers has been very much appreciated. She will be profoundly missed. We wish her the VERY BEST!

In the past 18 years, Milagros worked in almost all CCRS

Programs and was the CCRS Liaison to the Latino

Community. She was also the coordinator of Abriendo

Caminos, a research project studying the effects of nutrition

and exercise on Latino families. She leaves behind many

appreciative customers for whom she went the extra mile,

as well as myriad written materials for Spanish-speaking

clients. We wish her the VERY BEST!

When your parents send in paystubs as proof of income, remind them that the paystubs need to be CURRENT and CONSECUTIVE. If they are not, it can result in a processing delay.

Learn how to interact with infants in ways that emotionally and intellectually

support their discovery. Create interesting and developmentally appropriate

environments that invite interaction. (CDA 2, 3, 4, 7, 8)
