Work with industry professionals to Pimp the Presenter by making bespoke clothing & accessories for a Radio 1 DJ. Make a canvas bag for Children in Need and put it on sale in the Radio 1 Academy Pop-up Shop. Get a taste of set design and create the BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge backdrop. Music In association with Bounce Education Work alongside professional DJs and producers to build beats, mix music for Radio 1 and hone your DJ performance skills. This is your big chance to grab opportunities such as performing between the main acts on the BBC Introducing stage or hear your mixes played on air. Radio In association with BBC Radio 1, Newsbeat and BBC Radio Foyle Get the chance to work alongside BBC Radio 1 and local presenters and producers to produce content for the radio. No tech experience required, just a love of radio! Learn basic radio production skills and develop links with local radio stations. Then hear what you’ve made on air!
