As Marketers, we like shiny new toys so we buzz about what just came out. The danger is that we start followingthe new and then the tried and true becomes boring. So it shouldn't be surprising that the buzz throughout themarketing world is all about the latest social media that's going to light up the world, when in reality much of our

audience hasn't a clue about these. Most Americans, (69% in a recent poll) don't have (or really take) the time to post to ablog or belong to a social networking site. Trade Shows are favorite venues for producers to show off their product lines and services.The high energy gathering, matched with a large concentration of potential customers,provides a unique opportunity. Large conventions generate a vacation-like atmosphere,

where vendors can demonstrate their wares and customers can relax and actually listen to your presentations. Before you set up shop, you need to get organized!
