SECTION 1- Program Type

Apply for grant funding under the “Human & Social Services Program ” sector. We are defined as a program that “significantly contribute(s) to the quality of life in a community, including… promoting health or enhancing opportunities for youth.

Do not apply under the Service Organization. This meant for groups such as Legions, Rotary Clubs and other such organizations.

The Cadet Corps is not allowed to “acquire assets” (other than DND assets that are on loan to them) so they depend on the sponsoring committee to acquire and “own” those assets.
