DIPLOMA DESIGN STUDIODiploma Design Studio instructed by Studio of Innovative Spaces of Department of Public Building Design is connected to innovative scopes.

Most of the programs are prepared to the city of Veszprém that will be cultural capital of Europe in 2023.

Issued sites:

1. Veszprém, valley of Séd, from city centre down to former Csomay spa.

2. Veszprém, plots around historic castle in Buhim street, Thököly street and Vas Gereben street

ProgramsPublic buildings which can represent innovative spaces and functions connected to culture, health care, community life.Complete floorspace of the designable building is around 1000-2000 m2.

3. Like in the past, individual programs are also accepted - in case of a positive decision of department board (incl. international architectural competitions.

Program and site have to be negotiated until the 3d week of the course.Submission of program concepts is on 12.02.

! Conditions: ! - accepted program - having submitted before 23.02.! - completed studies (checked by consultants) presented in final

booklet,! - accepted Concept Design Plans (presentation in front of a

Department Board, there is one opportunity to repeat)! - submitted plans in time (all floor-plans, min. two sections, all

elevations 1:100, min. one section 1:50 and partly 1:20, site plan 1:500/200, detail drawings 1:10, 1:5 and model 1.200 + booklets with specifications and studies - approved by all associate consultants)

! Deadline: 18th of MAY, or 22th of MAY (with delay fee) 12AM ! Complete presentation project (except of final model) has to be

submitted on 18th June 12AM! Presentations start from 29th June.

! Way of completion: ! - active participation in consultations with home-prepared plans and

models! - completing condition of Code of Studies - parts: diploma project! - regular consultation with associate consultants (structures,

building construction, site management, building services)! - submission of complete project plan before deadline
