Dramatically poised, as though freeing itself from its earthly prison, this Allosaurus captures the imposing, mysterious presence of dinosaurs. Allosaurus was one of the most ferocious predators of the Jurassic, and could reach sizes comparable to the Tyrannosaurus rex. It belonged to the suborder Theropoda: bipedal, carnivorous dinosaurs that dominated the earth for more than 150 million years. Restored at the Geoworld paleontological laboratory, this middle-aged Allosaurus was between 22 and 28 years of age and a remarkable 55% complete. A striking display for avid dinosaur enthusiasts, this show-stopper captivates the imagination of everyone in its presence.

The massive Triceratops could reach over 25 feet long and weigh up to 9 metric tons. Beautifully displayed on a custom iron stand, this specimen likely belonged to an old bull. From the curved beak, up to the nasal and supraorbital horns, all the way to the large frill lined by fused epoccipitals forming a distinctive silhouette, this skull exhibits superb bone texture mineralized throughout. With its deep, delicate patination and detail, one plainly sees the change in texture from the fine-grained skull bone to the rugged surface of the horn cores. A piece of history, suitable for the most discerning collector and sure to inspire generations to come.

TRACKS: INSECT ENCOUNTERS REPTILE
Hiking through the Grand Canyon, a lizard scurries across the trail, snatches an insect in its path, and saunters back to the desert. This incredible fossil track provides a snapshot of a similar event before the dinosaurs roamed the Earth. The Coconino sandstones, most recognized for the Grand Canyon, are home to Arizona’s early fossil records. A closer look at the beige and rust sandstone matrix reveals intersecting trackways, a pelyco-saur running towards its snack, then a change in gait as it saunters off with its prize. A mammal-like reptile known only by its footprints, this exemplary piece of history is suitable for the most exclusive collection and sure to inspire generations to come.
