The responsible German body involved in its preparation was the Normenausschuß Eisen und Stahl (Steel and Iron Standards Committee), Technical Committee Flacherzeugnisse aus Stahl zum Kaltumformen. It should be noted that the classification of steel grades and the steel properties for treatment condition LC (skin passed) have been adopted from DIN EN 10130. The DIN Standards and the Stahl-Eisen-Prüfblatt (Iron and steel testing specification) (SEP) corresponding to the CEN document and EURONORMs referred to in clause 2 of the EN are as follows: EURONORM 5 DIN 50133 EURONORM 49 SEP 1940 CR 10260 DIN V 17006-100 Amendments In comparison with DIN 1624, June 1987 edition, the following amendments have been made: a) The scope of the standard has been restricted to cover strip in rolled widths below 600 mm. b) No requirements regarding the behaviour in the cupping test have been specified. c) Requirements for the plastic strain ratio and the strain hardening exponent have been specified.
