able in all countries. This manual describes how to affix the Digital Vehicle Key sticker to the rear side of a smart- phone and how to use it in the vehicle. You can use the Digital Vehicle Key sticker to perform the following functions: RLock or unlock the vehicle. RStart the vehicle.

Check that the smartphone is suitable for the "Digital Vehicle Key" service at http:// www.mercedes.me: X Activate the "Digital Vehicle Key" service. X Enter the telephone number.
If the smartphone is not suitable, you can obtain information on how to order the Digital
Vehicle Key sticker from a Mercedes-Benz Service Centre.
After placing an order, you can arrange an appointment for collecting the Digital Vehicle Key sticker. A member of the Mercedes-Benz Service Centre staff will confirm your appoint- ment.
i Bring the following with you when you col- lect the sticker: RRegistration certificate Part I (vehicle reg-
istration document) RVehicle key RIdentity card or passport

Requirements: RThere is sufficient space on the rear side of
the smartphone for the Digital Vehicle Key sticker. RThe rear side of the smartphone is not convex
and its surface is not coated. RThe Digital Vehicle Key sticker does not block
the battery compartment cover. X Make sure that the rear side of the smart-
phone is free from dust, dirt and grease. X Carefully peel the Digital Vehicle Key sticker
off the card. X Remove the protective film from the adhesive
surface of the Digital Vehicle Key sticker. Only affix the Digital Vehicle Key sticker at the specified position to: Rensure the functions of the Digital Vehicle Key
