Choose the right digital signage hardware and software for your retail environmentFor whatever your retail objective is, be it building a brand, influencing customer behavior or providing information about a product, digital signage should ultimately lead to increased sales and communication.

As digital signage can tend to be a significant investment, it’s recommended that serious planning needs to take place to ensure the retailers get a return on investment. Considerations should also include location, what software to use, and networks.

SpinetiX offers dedicated hardware in the form of their Hyper Media Players to mange content over retail systems. For small signage systems, SpinetiX Fusion software can be used to dynamically display information using the Hyper Media Player devices. These products are deployed at two Italian retail locations. The first of which is in hundreds of “3 Italia” mobile phone retail stores across Italy to benefit from small form factor, low power consumption and dedicated hardware.

In one of the largest and most high-profile installations to date, SpinetiX HMP100 Hyper Media Player technology is deployed across “3 Italia” stores thanks to certified distribution partner AV Store. The purpose of this nation-wide installation with 1200+ screens is to standardize communications with customers and provide them with attractive, informative signage to support mobile sales, promotions and incentives.

The other is Leroy Merlin and their prestigious Nova Milanese retail store located just outside of Milan. This is the very first Italian retail store to use interactive screens to guide and educate customers as well as create a unique shopping experience. The system uses the SpinetiX HMP100 Hyper Media Players to power and manage various content on screens located throughout the store.
