PROTEST waS fOundEd by a Small gROuP Of SnOwbOaRdERS in HOlland.

That’s right: Holland. One of the flattest places in the universe. Home to exactly five hills

and fourteen waves. That’s right: We counted the number of hills and waves and we said,

“TO HELL WITH LOGIC, TO HELL WITH OBSTACLES. LET’S DO WHAT WE LOVE.” Since day

one, we’ve been doing our part to get people from HERE TO THERE. Off the couch, out the

office, down the slopes, up a wave. As fast as humanly possible. It’s not just our business,

it’s our mission. We even started a non-profit fund to help obstacle-plagued riders overcome

whatever stands between them and THERE.

It’s what we live for. It’s why we’re here. We are a brand for anyone who loves fresh pow and

big waves. The some-timers, the all-the-timers, even the can’t-find-the-timers. The surfers, the

skiers, the boarders, the beach bums. We remind them all of the reason they fell in love with

the life in the first place. And we inspire them to get back to the place they want to be as often

as they can. Our clothes are made to support the grand masters. But they’re aimed at all the

people who simply want to have fun on a board and look good doing it. More riders = more

action = more fun.

wHaT wE maKE

For the core boarder and newcomer alike, our fully functional boardwear reflects the latest

trends in styles and colors. Each season we work within a number of themes that help

our collections hang together in color and in details like materials, zippers, applications,

embroideries, stitching, fabrics, textures, finishes and washes. This is what gives our range a

rich and exclusive look.

Our two main collections are Spring/Summer and Fall/Winter. Each collection features a

Men’s and Women’s line, as well as a Boy’s and Girl’s line. We’ve also recently added a

Toddler line.

The summer collection features a full range of highly stylish swimwear, a PRO line series of

high-tech boardshorts, as well as a PVRE line series featuring more sophisticated cuts and

styles for both men and women. In Winter, our heritage as a brand for the slopes is on full

display when we deliver our fully functional collection for boarders, skiers and in-between-ers.

In both Summer and Winter, we also deliver compact streetwear collections.

dESign iS THE fuEl THaT KEEPS PROTEST Running.

Our design team includes sixteen designers with international backgrounds in sports and

fashion. In addition, we have a global network that includes international fashion gurus and

innovative partners from the fashion and textile industry who enable us to work with stateof-

the-art technology and the latest fashion trends. Each season, we use input from Tokyo to

New York to create the latest fashion-forward designs.

where we want to be.We refused

to be caged and we embrace

the quest.We are Protest.And we will do

THERE.

Here we are again ladies. It’s time to do what we do best - go back to what we know and love. Gone are the short days and dark nights, the dream is once again a reality. The sun is shining, the waves are calling – we can sense the swell. It’s all about our boards and the beach. No more restrictions. Freedom. It’s summer. We are Protest. Let’s rip.Let’s get there.

So, what’s new? With Spring Summer 13 comes some refreshing surprises - three new collection themes, each with its own colour pallet and distinctive new style. Which one will you love?

With mermaids and fishermen we see a strong, clean marine look. Imagine textured fabrics, Breton stripes, sailor tattoos, anchors – even better, late-night card games accompanied by long, smooth glasses of rum! Ladies will love the attention to detail here; the sheer tunics, crocheted trims and a smaller but more beautiful range of boardshorts.

Head to the american desert where the name says it all. Think deserted road trips through the stifling heat, cactus plants, motels, bikers, snakes, and stars and stripes. Here we’re more mainstream with faded looks and photo prints, vintage classics, denim and distressed fabrics.

It’s all about effortless fashion – look out for the skirt and boob-tube in one. Two looks - one garment - life is so easy here.

If it’s all a bit too relaxed, add a little Origami - this optimistic, graphical feel is colorful, clean and geometrical with fitted styles that are shorter in length. Check out the Tee with a scarf attached and a really fun playsuit to rock on the sand.

For PROTEST PVRE women there’s an extended range made up of luxurious and elegant designs using beautiful, lightweight fabrics. Gorgeous twisted, knotted and braided straps feature in the swimwear and the detail on the embroidered tunics is very sweet.

Regular swimwear this year is both cooler and hotter than ever with high, regular and hipster fit bikinis – some reversible, some in denim - all with particular attention to detail and trim.

In the new accessories line there’s footwear for each theme for the ladies, including a new molded, cork flip-flop. Scarves to be worn as sarongs, textured beach shopper bags and straw hats all mean one thing, sun, sea and fun.
