1 Hot Folder

New multichannel linearization (up to 12 channels to manage the new iPF printers) It uses to their best all the printer’s inks and allows to create new drivers. This professional calibration system allows a complete flexibility in the choice of the number of the printing inks. According to your needs you can create drivers to make the new iPF print with 4 (CMYK), 6 (CMYKcm), 7 (CMYKRGB), 8 (CMYKcmklk), or 11 colors, thus controlling either the printing costs or the quality. Is like having many printers in one!

Print on any Windows Printer with the “Windows Printer” driver.

Nestig up to 99 images

This feature allows to insert many different images and place them automatically or manually. It’s really useful for photographers. You can create an active folder for automatic or manual print (Hot folder), in this folder you can drag the files that you want to print, they will be placed on the page and printed to the required size using the required profiles without the need of any user involvment. You will also be able to print an “Index print” with all the thumbnails of your images.

Tiling for large format images

This function allows to print images larger than the print area (eg. 6x3m) cutting them into smaller tiles of the right size with overlapping (if needed).

Any tile can be managed individually and you can print again each tile also after a period of time with the same settings, thanks to the print report.

drivers are an optimal compromise between quality and speed, they have a color quality higher than those of the windows drivers, and create files smaller than those of the drivers. The drivers use linearization, light inks management and dithering controlled by the RIP, while in the Drivers they are controlled on printer side.

The Drivers have the following advantages over the : Higher color accuracy - Better shadings - Larger Gamut (quantity of printable colors) - Better quality and readability in the darkest areas of the image - You can use drivers that has been created either for the highest photographic quality (with high usage of the light inks to have dot size as small as possible) or created for ink saving (driver with low light inks usage)
