INTRODUCTION

Digital printing is a non-contact printing technology in which fine ink droplets are formed and then deposited on a fabric

Ink jets are connected with CAD software helps in wide format designs by using suitable inks with acceptable quality and fastness.

It is the process of achieving desired designs by projecting tiny drops inks in predetermined Pixels on surface of the fabric.

It can design any kind of fabric Cotton, Polyester and Wool, Silk and Nylon

In past, machine is operated by mechanical methods, operator experience and judgment and then it is advanced by electromechanical feedback device.

It was made fully electronically.

PROCESS During the printing process, the fabric is fed through the printer using

feed roller and ink is applied to surface of fabric in the form of thousand tiny droplets.

fabric is printed by digital printers with the design prepared on computer using ink jet based method of printing colorants onto fabric.

The fabric is then passed through steam/heat chamber to cure the ink.

Then steamed fabric required washing and drying

Ink Requirements Stability at storage Should not affect print head Viscosity would be 3-10Mpa Sec. For Piezo head Viscosity would be 15-30 Mpa Sec. Water soluble without electrolyte Non Foaming character.
