DIGITAL MARKETING INTERNSHIP JOB DESCRIPTION Hiring: Effective immediately for Spring or Summer 2017. OVERVIEW Our boutique marketing consultancy is on the hunt for a savvy, digital marketing intern. The internship will be based in downtown Turlock, CA with a flexible schedule. This person will be a valuable member of the team and can easily demonstrate writing, social media and marketing aptitude. This internship is client-facing and will require strategic, critical thinking! This is not a “paper-pushing” internship! Potential for growth into F/T Marketing Assistant position. INTERNSHIP TERMS Yes, this internship is paid! Stipend amount will depend on schedule, hours confirmed to work each week and job experience. Flexible hours: Approximately 10-20 hours per week, with room to add. DESIRED PERSONALITY TRAITS Traits that are valuable for this job...somebody who is constantly looking at their iPhone, is social media obsessed, has good writing skills and is a self-starter. Essentially, you must be a naturally curious person who wants to learn everything about digital marketing. You must be incredibly organized, naturally hard working and tremendously pleasant to be around. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE Proven ability to manage a social media account, writing samples and previous work experience required. This can be through a collegiate club, team or activity. Or ideally through a previous internship. Experience with content research & preferably experience purchasing online advertising.
