Digital Forestry Grid

Simultaneously construct multi-level forestry special application system for different purposes.

DFG integrates the data resources of forestry resources and forestry eco-construction projects in four levels of state, province, city and county, covering all kinds of data, such as satellite remote sensing images, spatial vector data, thematic attribute data and etc.

As an application demonstration, the forest resource monitoring system and grain for green project analysis and management system have been developed for both state and provincial levels, which are important management tools for forestry resource management and forestry eco-construction projects.

Digital Forestry Grid

DFG can be put into used in different patterns. Firstly, it can be an independent system for

forestry-specialized computing environment. Secondly, it can be connected to share the

existing forestry information system and running environment by grid encapsulation the data, software, computer and storage devices distributed in forestry sector.
