Federal Broadband Stimulus funding – until June 2012
18 full-time paid workers (CYC Corps) to “engage, train, equip and support” new broadband adopters
Concentrating in Cleveland and East Cleveland neighborhoods
Goal = 5,200 disconnected citizens become sustainable broadband adopters by next Summer
More than 1,800 new home broadband users in CYC's first ten months – 3,000 have taken classes
24 hours of free training; subsidized home computers; help with finding affordable broadband service
