What is the Digital Champions Project? Whether it’s getting online, setting up a device or more advanced questions on specific queries, we can help! We also provide some of the latest devices for people who would like to try before they buy. All of our sessions are held in an informal, relaxed environment and are always at the pace of the learner; we don't teach, we guide. Why is Digital Technology important? Many of us use Digital Technology without realising it and you may be missing out on the benefits of digital technology without knowing it. Have a look at the benefits of being online listed below to see what you could achieve. Why should I get online? Getting online can help you to: Keep in touch with friends and family No matter how near or far, being online can help you keep in touch with friends and family, learn how to video chat or send an email. Find sources of information Learn how to look up the information that you want, when you want it. Discover a new hobby or interest, plan your next holiday or stay active in your local community by using the internet to find out about local events. Learn to shop online Find a bargain, save yourself the struggle of carrying heavy bags back from the shops whilst staying independent. Manage your bills and finance Manage your money in the ease of your home. Pay bills online, and find the best deal for things such as utility bills. Listen to radio or watch TV online Find new ways to watch your favourite TV shows and listen to music.
