About Spirit of TasmaniaSpirit of Tasmania I and II transport passengers, passenger vehicles and freight between Melbourne and Tasmania. In 2015, the two vessels underwent a major refurbishment, with their interiors being completely refitted and redesigned.

Spirit of Tasmania is one of Australia’s most iconic tourism operators providing passengers with a unique, convenient, safe and reliable service.

The 429 kilometre voyage between Melbourne and Devonport takes approximately ten

and half hours across Bass Strait. Departing 7:30pm from Station Pier in Port Melbourne and Devonport in Tasmania’s north-west, the twin ships offer passengers a unique sailing experience combined with the convenience of bringing their own vehicles.

Day sailings also operate during periods of high demand (September to May).

Spirit of Tasmania provides passengers with a trip to remember with spectacular views,

delicious food and great entertainment.

Spirit of Tasmania is considered one of Australia’s

most iconic travel experiences. We provide

passengers with a trip to remember with spectacular

views, delicious food and great entertainment. And

we are passionate about all things Tassie.

• Our digital screens located throughout the

vessels need to enhance our passenger’s

onboard experience

• Content needs to inspire and excite our

passengers about the trip they are about to

embark on in Tasmania

• To maxium exposure we recommend clear call

to actions with logo on every frame

• It’s recommended to fade the start and end

frames in and out. This gives a little breathing

space between each ad

• Acceptable content: Tasmanian tourism

content (activities, regions, attractions, events,

experiences, restaurants, accommodation and

travel)

• We will also accept Victorian tourism content
